My family hired John Lippl to review our case and represent my 88-year old mother after negotiations broke down between her and the unscrupulous builder (who was in cahoots with a private adjuster). John was able to sort through the enormous backlog of construction contracts and related documents (and also read between the lines as to what had not been disclosed). Because of his experience and intelligence, John put us in a great position to bargain with the co-conspirators. He is thorough, diligent, patient and has great emotional intelligence to boot. We are so lucky to have a connection with John. Moreover, he bent over backwards to help my mom and so far has done it all on a pro bono basis. Merry Christmas Mom!

I had a very complex construction defect case with a large national company. John was able to sort through the complex case and help it come to a resolution. John was extremely personable and made complex court proceedings easy to understand. I felt like John was interested in my well being and a positive outcome over his fees. I would highly recommend John.

We worked with John over many months on a construction case. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgable and diligent. He extensively explained his thinking on the structure of our case, sought and made use of our input and suggestions where appropriate, and respectfully disagreed with us when he felt it was in our best interests to do so. At the actual arbitration, John was completely prepared, and presented our case with admirable professionalism and dogged tenacity. I don't believe any lawyer could have done a better job than John did for us.

John handled the construction part of a complex litigation case for my wife and I. The level of knowledge in regard to construction and engineering was second to none. John ripped the defendants engineer apart during our trial, exposing the many faults in the defendants position. I would refer John in a construction related dispute. The only reason I did not give five stars is that even though we won some aspects of our case, we did not succeed on any punitive damages. The lack of punitive damages in our case is a sign of a broken justice system and was a kick in the teeth to us and John. John, as a good engineer, meticulously laid the foundation of all legal requirements to be awarded punitive damages into the record and somehow it was all ignored. It is probably unfair for me to remove one star for the lack of success in our case because I don't know what more John could have done at trial. John is a good guy that I can say became a friend while being one of our attorneys.

Mr, Lippl is knowledgeable, honest and professional attorney. He thoroughly researched our case, fully explained the legalities of our situation, provided recommendations and an honest assessment of the likely outcome. He was responsive to all of our telephone calls, and answered or followed up on questions in timely manner.

I highly recommend Mr. John Lippl for any construction related legal matters. Mr. Lippl has legally represented me on two occasions over the past ten years, once with a residential contractor issue and secondly with a commercial real estate litigation. Mr. Lippl is uniquely qualified to handle complex construction related matters as he has an extensive educational background in engineering, architecture, and law. At all times while representing me, he was very patient and professional and went above and beyond what I would have ever expected. He makes himself available anytime and his responses are prompt and very strategically thought out. I can’t imagine what would have happened in both of my legal matters if I did not have Mr. Lippl by my side. I strongly recommend Mr. Lippl without reservation.

I hired Mr Lippl approx. 4 years ago, based on a peer recommendation. The case expanded rapidly, and thanks to Mr Lippl’s investigative skills, we were able to provide valid arguments to unforeseen found facts and rebuttals. His subject matter knowledge was beyond compare. His honestly regarding his fees and the other court costs was appreciated, and his continual assurances of a positive outcome helped motivate us forward. Though the process was frustrating, Mr Lippl’s willingness to seek further evidence and the drive to succeed, helped calm my nerves throughout the ordeal. The case has finally concluded, and we did prevail. If and when the need would ever present itself again, I would not hesitate to call Mr Lippl.

I contacted Mr Lippl for a possible case I had involving my home. After two phone conversations (less than five minutes each) and a few one sentence emails he expected a $3000 retainer for 10 hours, paid upfront with no discussion of whether or not we should move forward with the case. I very kindly offered to pay for a consultation to discuss our possible chances before paying $3000 and he declined the case saying that he would not be able to meet our expectations. I found him rude, and unwilling to understand that not everyone can throw $3000 at just anything because we don't all make that in one day. Looking back, I wish I had said that to him.
