I used Bootay Bevington & Nichols for my home's reassessment after my purchase (due to the school district's appeal). My taxes were nearly doubling after purchasing my home. DJ managed to get this significantly down for me. Ultimately my taxes only went up about 50%, and he has saved me thousands of dollars. I cannot recommend this firm enough. My husband and I hired this law firm after receiving a notice in the mail about an increase in taxes on our newly purchased home. I was very worried about the increase in taxes and how this would affect us. We received a letter in the mail from this law firm not long after, offering their services. I called them up the next day to get the information. I was immediately connected with the lawyer that was willing to take our case. He was honest, upfront and their services were fairly inexpensive for what we were dealing with. Mr. Nichols kept us informed every step of the way and always responded quickly to emails or calls. After a year and a half (the state likes to drag their feet) we finally settled on a tax assessment realistic for our area. Because of him, we saved a lot of money and headache. I have nothing but good things to say about this firm. They will work hard for you and give you excellent results.

Signed a deal with them to represent me for a tax appeal (referred to them by my lawyer) but they never showed up to the court date because I didn’t “Pre pay” ... no response to my emails asking them why.
