I hired Amanda for a non contested divorce. I originally hired a scam artist that said he was a lawyer, that also charged double what Cook charges, and got fed up after months of hearing excuse after excuse as well as silenced phone calls. I ended up talking to my father who referred me to Amanda. Amanda immediately picked up my case and got the mess from the previous lawyer all cleaned up and filed correctly. Not only was she super professional she handled my case with a sense of urgency. Amanda returned my phone calls and emails the same day often times calling me right back. All in all my divorce was completed within a couple of months and I am very happy with Cook law. I would recommend this firm to anyone seeking legal help. She even gave me a tip on how to resolve and get my retainer amount back from the previous lawyer.
