I came to Nancy with intimidation and confusion with the law and how to handle a situation; a competing business opened up and I didn't know how to deal with exclusivity and non-competition in my plaza. Nancy thoroughly explained exactly how exclusivity works and what I needed to look for in the signed lease. She expertly clarified exactly how to handle the situation and what I need to know moving forward so that we don't make the same mistake again. I now know my rights and what I am entitled to by the law much more clearly. Moving forward I feel a lot more confident with dealing with the law thanks to Nancy. Nancy Lanard went above an beyond for me. I could tell right form the first phone call they knew what they were talking about. If you are thinking about a franchise, I highly suggest you hire a franchise specific attorney before you sign a contract. unfortunately I did not do this and paid the price in the long run. That is where Nancy came in and gave me great advice.

I initially found Lanard and Associates through a Google search. After reaching out by email, I received a prompt reply along with several very helpful links (videos, resources and articles) to review. Being new to franchising, and just starting to review the FDD of a franchise I was considering, the content was very informative and helpful. Nancy Lanard and I then had our initial consultation and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed! I have run a marketing agency serving law firms for 5 years and have worked with at least a couple hundred attorneys during that time. So, before meeting with her, I took the time to check her out online. She is without a doubt one of the if not THE leading attorney in her space. Being new to the world of franchising, reading through and understanding FDD & FA documents was a daunting task to say the least. I just didn't know what I didn't know. At the very least, I knew I needed help from an experienced franchise law firm to make sure I understood exactly what I was potentially getting myself into. After researching various firms, I reached out to Lanard and Associates and set up a consultation call with Nancy. The call with Nancy went great. She took the time to get to know me a bit, and made sure she understood what kind of help I was looking for. She was very transparent about what services her firm would provide, and how much money those services would cost. They weren't the most expensive or the least expensive of the firms I looked at, and I got a good vibe when we spoke, so the price was right for me. Kimberly Meyer was the attorney assigned to my case, and she lived up to everything that Nancy promised. Kimberly was very friendly and easy to work with. She spent a good 3 hours on the phone with me detailing all the pertinent parts of the documents, including the information that the documents did not contain. She was quick to respond to all of my follow-up questions regardless of how early or late in the day I emailed her. I think there was one day where Kimberly was on vacation and I had a question, but not to fear as Nancy was all over it! I felt informed and prepared going into my first Discovery Day, and with Kimberly's guidance, I was even able to negotiate some of the terms of the Franchise Agreement! Great communication throughout the entire process which is huge for me! I highly recommend working with Kimberley and Nancy when evaluating franchise brands, and franchisors.

I had a question about my issues with a franchise , Tis great lady MS Nancy Lanard took her time , and went through my documents and listened patiently to me and provided me with greatest advise so far i got and she did not charge me for the advise.
