My fiancé was having difficulties finalizing his divorce with his ex-wife. Once he hired Mark Zimmer the process got rolling quickly. We hit a few roadblocks, but Mark handled each one promptly and professionally while keeping us updated. We are so grateful for his commitment to our situation.

I did not have a great experience with this law firm. In regard to the legal help and advice I received from Attorney Sarno, I feel like she took the easy way out, rather than actually fighting for me. She made it seem like my only option was to go with her advice and if I went against it and fought for a better outcome, I would be in worse shape than I was then. I know this is pretty vague, but it’s the best I can describe without going into detail. I found out after the fact, that the other party would have been more than willing to give more, but my attorney asked for the easiest outcome for me and best outcome for me. I’m not sure if this was simply because she didn’t like me, or because she didn’t want to put in the extra effort. But it had a permanent effect on me and my life. After the case was completed and all of the paperwork was done, I received three different invoices for her extra time. Two of these invoices I paid in full, assuming she was just finalizing paperwork with the courts. A third invoice came in with services dating almost two months after our case was handled, for almost $600 dollars and no explanation as to what it as for. I do not plan on utilizing an attorney again, if I don’t have to. If I found myself in another legal situation though, I will be choosing a different law firm, without question.

I highly recommend Todd Berk. He helped my family member get SSI on appeal. He and his team were very good at organizing and submitting all of the necessary documents. He returned calls very promptly. He was honest and personable. He knew what to expect of the process and had a good feel as to whether or not our case had a strong likelihood of success. This firm is amazing! I had dealt with another local lawyer on my uncle's estate who did not help me at all.
