Mr. Orwig provided outstanding legal advice to both my husband and me. Thanks to his wealth of knowledge and guidance I was prepared and handled my situation with confidence. My husband was a victim of harassment and Mr. Orwig helped us navigate our way through the legal system that was unfamiliar to us. He attended the hearing and the perpetrator was found guilty. We remain grateful for his services.

Richard Orwig was very professional and attentative. He helped me throughout the entire process and at the end of the day if it wasn't for Richard Orwig's expertise I would not have ended up in such a good situation. Decided to try Mr. Orwig for my case, was told he was very good and knows the laws pertaining to insurance companies. Bad idea. He loses your information, makes you go get information because he has no money. He charges more at the end of the case. He is arrogant and verbaly threaten me. Please stay away from this so called attorney.

I hired Mr. Orwig to handle a business dispute for me. I have worked with him before when he handled two Estates for my in-laws. Mr. Orwig took the time to listen to me, and asked me what my ideal resolution would be. Although he was not familiar with the exact area of art law that governed my case, he made a concerted effort to learn the statute and read the relevant case law, and we discussed these at length before my hearing. Also, prior to the hearing he made sure to talk to me about what direction he was planning to take in arguing my case, and made sure I was in agreement. Once we were in court, he was professional, persuasive, and very knowledgeable about court procedure and practice.

Mr. Orwig represented me in an auto accident. He did not return phone calls, was arrogant, pretended to know the law, and abandoned me. I have not heard from him since.

Richard Orwig touts himself as an experienced lawyer in areas that he has no expertise. He tells you that he is working on your case and lets the case sit until the statue of limitations is nearly up which leaves you no time to find another attorney. Richard is arrogant and indeed loud just as the other person stated. He is more interested in himself than his clients.

I originally started out in the office of O'Pake/Orwig, when they seperated all of my documents went to Richard Orwig and when Chris Froelich left the practice some of my mother's documents went missing. When my mom was gravely ill and we needed a copy of her POA and will and they could not be found. When discovered by Richard's office what had happened he came to my mother's nursing home within a day and resigned all the papers so we could proceed with her care. I find i'm very pleased with his services and would continue to be his client until (which hopefully never) may experience any issues with him. I have none at the moment and would recommending his services to anyone. The question below asks how long AGO did you use this attorney. I've used his services periodically over the last 7 years. Most recently in the pas 12 months.

Richard did not return calls he did not keep me informed and as we progressed through my claim it became apparent that he relied exclusively on a loud personality and has no knowledge of the law. Clients should be aware that he will not return calls and charges a large amount of time on issues he claimed that he already knew. A very bad experience.
