Amazing, that’s all I need to say!

While dealing with a family situation, Russell was highly recommended to me. Every step of the way was extremely easy; from initial phone call to first consultation to end result. Throughout the whole process Russell was very direct about his strategy and expectations for the proceedings. Russell always offered his suggestions and helped me in a situation in which I was extremely unknowledgable. As the case progressed, Russell kept me updated and frequently reviewed things with me. He was available to answer my questions every step of the way and even met me at the courthouse day of to once again go over things and answer any questions. I would recommend Russell to anybody needing a family lawyer.

I called in with a few questions about a bond forfeiture and was transferred to Richard Epstein, He was super kind and helpful! He was even willing to research some things for me to get an answer for us! He is truly great!

Russel Adkins was monumental with getting me through my divorce. He was extremely supportive, patience and thorough. When it was apparent that I needed a PFA from my (then) husband, Russell assisted me with getting in touch with the Aware program. This was extremely helpful considering my wages at the time were being garnished due to several poor business decisions that’s were made during my marriage. I dreaded the fact that I needed an attorney but am glad that another lawyer referred me to Russel Atkins and his firm. Although all parties are not as satisfied as me with the outcome, Russell always had my best interests in mind and followed through with matters in a timely manner.

I wish we had similar experiences to these reviews when it came to dealing with Russell Adkins. Understanding that an attorney's schedule is quite hectic, we have patiently awaited funds that his firm was to disburse to my fiance from a house that was sold on 5/31/19. To date, Mr. Adkins refuses to respond to inquiries on when the proceeds should be received. For the past eight weeks my fiance has left voicemails and messages with his assistant but it appears he cherry picks who he responds to. We thought this small town attorney would be easier to work with but that has not been the case.

I have dealt with Russell Adkins from this firm for months and this attorney has been nothing short of difficult to work with. Both me and my attorney have tried to reach out to him numerous times to finalize our matters but Mr. Adkins refuses to do his part to close this chapter of my life. He has held onto funds from houses sold despite the fact that there is a court signed order that specifically details how the proceeds should be disbursed. I understand this is a small town and there may not be many choices of attorneys but please consider before working with this attorney.

It’s been a year and a half and I can’t even get a return phone call on what was supposed to be a simple case but I can get a bill.... for what idk because they won’t answer that question either.

Russ is a wonderful attorney and family man. He has been very helpful with multiple legal questions that I have had. He also did my divorce for me and was very attentive to my needs. Highly recommend.

He not only went through meetings, mediation and every step of our legal process but was available to me through every crisis imaginal, with text, emails, phone calls and visits to our home. When I see him or talk to him there’s a calm that comes over me because I know when it falls apart again he will be there and make it all right again. In fact, the friend that recommended him to us (also an attorney) said he “knocked our case right out of the park” he never heard of a settlement such as ours! He is one of the very best attorneys, at the best and biggest law firm in Mercer County, a stand out in his community and church as well!
