Attorney Matt Zatko is a top notch lawyer that you want to represent you! My daughter had a moving violation and Matt was stern enough to get the point across (stop speeding!), but absolutely professional enough to not embarrass her at any point. Hiring Matt Zatko was one of the worst experiences of my life, both personally and professionally. It was also one of the worst decisions of my life as well. I paid Mr. Zatko $5,000 in full, all before we even had a preliminary hearing. He basically just stole that money and had no regard whatsoever for my life, my future, or for the fact that he had a legal obligation now to defend me...over the course of the next 7 months, Zatko barely communicated with me at all. I would call his office several times with no call-backs. He wouldn't notify me until 1-2 days prior to court hearings, some of which I had no idea were scheduled. On the rare occasions that I did speak with him on the phone, he would always rush through the conversation and rush me off the phone. Even when I drove 3-1/2 hours up to his office from my home outside of Philadelphia, he rushed me out of that meeting in under 20 minutes. He didn't follow through with any of the things he said he was going to, and he would never meet with the DA until finally one time at the utmost last minute. This was 7 months after I hired him. 7 MONTHS. In doing so he put my entire life in jeopardy...finally, two days before a scheduled sentencing he calls me and is screaming at me on the phone (not the first time that that had happened) to sign a guilty plea to a felony that I was not guilty of, and to 11-1/2-23 months in Bedford County Prison, no work release. I would have lost my electrical business, lost my home, lost my dog, lost literally everything. I fired him the next day and obtained new legal counsel. My new legal counsel, in two months of time, got the felony thrown out, and I have to do 3 months on work release in my home county, so that I can continue growing my business. Had my new lawyer not been starting negotiations from the detrimental position that Zatko had put me in, he is confident that he would've gotten me just probation. I was fortunate because I was able to pay the new lawyer a detainer of $7,500 with only one days notice from my business account. Had I not been able to do that, I would've had to continue with Zatko and my life would be in shambles right now. This man has no ethics, no decency, and no consideration or regard for his clients. I honestly feel bad for his children because they will grow up looking up to a man of such low character and low morals...I am currently in the process of reporting him to the disciplinary board, and also will be filing a legal malpractice suit in the near future. So please, if you value your life and value your future, stay as far away from this "lawyer" as possible.

Really helpful with my speeding ticket

Attorney Zatko promptly called me back and provided excellent advice that saved me a minimum of $450 over what other attorneys were offering via their online services. He did not charge for the time given to determine there was no benefit to hiring him for this particular traffic violation. That’s never happened and I will most certainly call him again if there’s need in his areas of expertise.

Attorney Matthew Zatko could not have been more helpful. He has gone above and beyond expectations. I truly could not be more thankful and appreciative for not only his help but also support.
