I started struggling with my health while still working. I got to the point where I could not longer work. I had to get bi-lateral hip arthroplasty among many other health concerns. While I did have health care I had no income. I relied on my savings, family and friends. They could only help so much. I went and filed for Disability (SSDI) and was turned down the first time I applied. I did not feel comfortable handling on my own. I had the pleasure of meeting a woman several years ago named Irianna Blitshtein. She gave me her card and said she was an attorney who handles Social Security Disability.
