I hired attorney Janet Jackson her representation for my case was absolutely out standing.

Janet is quite simply the finest attorney I have ever met. She guided me through one of the hardest experiences of my life and I will forever be grateful for everything she did on my behalf. Without going into great detail of the specifics of my case, I was potentially facing multiple felony charges as well as misdemeanor charges for a situation in which I was being portrayed by the local police and media in a manner completely unreflective of me or my situation. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I owe my freedom and my cleared criminal record to Janet Jackson. Within one day of me reaching out to Janet, she drove to meet me and we discussed my situation. Over this time, Janet very carefully took the time to ask me personal questions to get a sense as to who I was and why I was in the situation in which I was. Never once did I feel I was being judged or made to feel ashamed of myself and instead I felt empowered by Janet's honest, direct, knowledgeable, and supportive presence and demeanor. In general, professional and empathetic are hard to come by together but there are exceptions. I had the extreme privilege to be represented by Ms. Jackson in a life changing matter that I fell into due to some allegations that ended up having me charged and arrested thanks to some poor "police work". The nature of these charges would have destroyed my family, my career and my entire life. I was initially represented by a "hot shot" lawyer from a big town who really believed he was doing me a favor by getting me a plea deal. Any sort of plea would have been devastating for me, especially because I would be forced to admit to something I didn't do. With my court dates fast approaching, I contacted Ms. Jackson's office and she heard my entire story patiently while asking questions in between - she had already begun working on my case. Before we hung up, she said - " I believe you and I don't think you should go for a plea, can you come down so we can meet?" She agreed to meet me on a Sunday afternoon and everything changed from that point. She initiated a hearing where a lot of unknowns on the basis of which I was about to be convicted came to light and in my favor. She did extensive research on similar cases and gathered facts that a court of law would find very difficult to deny (this is exactly what you want when making an argument!). There were several witnesses on my side who Ms Jackson personally interviewed, once again on weekends to accommodate everyone's schedules. She was also extremely patient and supportive of me and gave me the confidence to move forward to trial. For someone who has no criminal history, this would have been a scary ordeal but by seeing Ms Jackson's methodical approach to handing this case it gave me a lot of courage and peace to keep moving forward. Then came the trial... Ms Jackson's opening statement was so powerful and compelling, I could see the jury acknowledging every word and just like how she believed me, the jury believed her. Through each of the 3 days, she was very energetic and convincing as she laid down the evidence and facts to the jury and at the end, I went from almost being a convicted criminal for life as a result cross-racial misidentification to being acquitted of all charges! I believe that God places the right people in your path to protect you and I am grateful to Ms. Jackson and her staff for the amazing job that they did. They have been in the Stroudsburg area for almost 30 years and they are well respected in the local court system which goes a long way when dealing with the State or unreasonable judges. If you are looking for a trustworthy attorney or have already hired Ms. Jackson, I can guarantee you she will be laser focused in helping you get the best outcome possible and you can remain at peace.

Like many people, I shopped around when looking for legal counsel. I was up against many odds in my case. Most of the lawyers I spoke to quoted me retainers far out of my affordability for pretty much taking the brunt of the full accusation. I was greatly discouraged. Then I spoke with Janet Jackson. From the beginning of the consultation, her demeanor was worlds apart from the others. She was warm and understanding like family. Not looking to just churn out a couple bucks copping a quick plea. Once in a lifetime you get to find a lawyer that is everything they say they are Miss Jackson. you are one of those lawyers. She took a potential life changing situation and as far as I'm concerned fixed it. So what potentially I would have had to go through her rates are very reasonable and surprisingly enough it was not all about the money!
