My experience with Ms. Jackson has restored my faith in the judicial process. She was honest, forthcoming and understanding from the start. I have no regret for the process or outcome of my case. In my personal experience, Ms. Jackson went above and beyond the duties of an attorney. I would recommend her to anyone who has legal issues due to alcohol or substance abuse disorders.

I found Leo Jackson when I needed a lawyer to review a severance package. I knew I had found a good lawyer when I couldn't get to his office during normal hours and he stayed late to meet with me! He took a detailed look at it, explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and noticed that my wages were miscalculated by Workers Comp. Leo listened to my whole story, reviewed my medical documents and explained to me my options. I had a unique situation in which I lived where I worked which makes calculating wages different. I found great comfort in the fact that Leo has had numerous similar cases so knew how best to handle a case like mine. In the end, he worked hard to get me a respectable settlement for my injury- even during the crazy of the Pandemic! Leo was knowledgable about workers comp law, concussions/ brain injuries, and supportive throughout the whole process. He was always just a phone call or text away which I found helpful and reassuring. I definitely recommend Attorney Leo Jackson for any workers compensation, or employment case. I will be forever grateful to him and his team.

I have a granddaughter who it seems angered a neighbor. Subsequently, the neighbor, a young female made the claim that my granddaughter broke into her car and stole $1,000.00 in cash and later amended her claim to include other things not previously mentioned because, though we did not admit to stealing anything it was the easiest thing to do and resolve the case. And it was resolved for $1,668, and change. My son, the granddaughter's father initially contacted Attorney Janet Jackson. She quoted him $2,500 for initial representation and to handle the first court date, which turned out to be nothing more than a case to decide if the case should go to court. i.e. a grand jury finding. In addition, it seems the case was an anything goes hearing where the prosecution could enter anything into evidence including hearsay, which clearly not admissible in court. $2,500 to represent us in a hearing that had no significance? I paid it. Was there a choice? The real issue to me is this. Attorney Janet Jackson had no risk. She would actually make more money losing the case than if the case was one at the first hearing. It was NOT in her best financial interest to have the case dropped by the state. I, as a rule, refuse to do business with anyone that doesn't have anything to lose. Ms. Jackson would not meet the criteria. If my butt is the only one on the line, my thought is, who needs you? And while my granddaughter's butt was on the line, I believe this to be a very simple case, and Ms. Jackson was exploiting it...and was being paid more to lose. Because she'd start charging $375.00 per hour to defend...and if she lost? More hours at $375.00. And I have to take her word for how many hours she spent on it. Right! For me, the defendant's grandfather, I did the right thing. My son did the right thing by settling with the person who brought charges. I wouldn't use Ms. Jackson again. I'd get another lawyer. But it's your choice. Good luck to you.
