Joel Wiest doesn't reply to me. He acted like matters were urgent, so I acted quickly putting off my work. Then I didn't hear from him for months and would see him getting his back waxed by his young daughter on Facebook or reclining with a round belly on the beach in another state among other things. Money went down the drain very quickly. What a nightmare.

They answered the phone. Attorneys are very busy, make sure you set up an appointment before hand. Gonna be hard to get them on same day.

Family law…??… Really?…Been waiting for custody to be taken care of because of custody filed in another county illegally that should not have been filed and now trying to get a ceased order that should’ve been done almost 2 months ago and still waiting…Unbelievable!!!!!… but you better believe they’ll bill you for every conversation AND any kind of communication and whatever else they feel like charging for BUT They don’t do their part as far as what they’re being paid for very very very unprofessional!!!!!!….And we are still waiting…!

Seems like they care in the beginning apparently everybody is too busy, well don't take on a new client if you're too busy to handle what's already on your plate. Multiple emails that go unanswered voicemails and calls that go unanswered. Meanwhile you're fighting for your right as a parent with nothing to stand on.

I was granted an emergency custody relief order for my children after two days from visiting his office; everyone I talk to are surprised of how I got it before filing for PFA. Very professional, he kept me updated throughout the process. Am a very happy client and will continue to work with him for my other cases.

Never answers calls. Does not seem to care about our case. In what we feel should be an open and closed case he has pushed for nothing. It's a waste of your time and money to get involved with him.

To meet a deadline, I was told to rush and overnight certified documents 7 weeks ago. Which I did immediately. Then I started calling. I called and left a message every week. I eventually began emailing too.
It’s taken 7 weeks to get a return call or response and the event they were necessary for past 4 weeks ago. Nothing was done. My time and money wasted... not to mention the loss of the actual purpose that would have been a no brainer if i had hired another attorney. Don’t waste your time or money on Rachel Brenner.

I give this guy ZERO stars I would NOT recommend him to anyone. First he never answers your calls it only takes about to 2 weeks for to answer or even respond. Second he held a court hearing without me and made decision on my behalf WITHOUT my consent everything he needed to beat my custody case he didnt use.. Because of him I dont have my son with me at the moment most horrible lawyer I've ever had hands down
