Back in 2008 I got myself into a good bit of trouble. I had 29 pages of charges and on top of that a violation of probation and charges in other counties. I had a total of 8 warrants and or detainers in multiple counties. I called many lawfirms and got some iill made gaurantees and promises that I knew realistically they couldn't give me. Everyone seemed to tell me what they thought I wanted to hear. That's why I knew after my first conversation with Mr. Goodwin, I would be sticking with him. Long before I paid I was given legal advice, they got my records and gave me an HONEST opinion on how they felt things would go. I have gotten my life together since I committed these crimes sure, but they were still committed, and I was certain there would be consequences. Mr Goodwin was able to get my detainer lifted and warrant recalled. He not only helped with the judge but also went to the probation officer I bailed on with me, and worked out a deal with her. Yesterday i had a violation of probation hearing where my violation, my failure to complete probation satisfactorily, and the fact that I ran for 8 years was dropped and the case dismiased/closed. Almost a decade of worry and putting everything on hold and it's just done. I am forever grateful, and will recommend them to EVERY and anyone in need of honest, legal representation.
