This process went as well as I could’ve hoped for. There were times that were very difficult but one thing Mindey said stuck in my mind, “if you’re both feeling that it’s unfair then I’m doing my job correctly” (or something like that). And that was definitely the case on many of the issues. I heard nightmare stories of divorces taking several years and costing literally hundreds of thousands of dollars.
