July 27, 2024 I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Michael Homans for several reasons; First for taking my case when no other attorney would. Second for his endless knowledge of PA employment law, as he was able to site a case that pertained to my situation exactly. Third for showing empathy and compassion for my individual situation of being unemployed and fighting a serious medical condition. He was more than fair with me. And last, for the short time it took him to win my case. From the time I hired Michael to the time my money was in my bank account was only five weeks, without going to court. He accomplished this in two ways: He wrote two brilliant letters on my behalf to the opposing counsel. And had one extremely persuasive conversation with them as well in between. They went from offering us nothing, to 60% to 100% of what was owed to me. They were trying to keep a large sum of money from me on a technicality that they invented, but Michael knew better. For all of these reasons I have found a wonderful new attorney and wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to recommend him to family, friends and even strangers. I met with Julie for a consultation that cost $450. I provided all of the information she had asked me to put together and we agreed that she would write up a letter (for an additional cost of $450/hr) to present to my most recent employer. The draft I received was beyond unacceptable and they should be embarrassed. They had my name wrong referring to me as "Ms. Weber" so clearly copied and pasted from someone else's letter. My dates of employment were wrong, the information i provided was incorrect and when i brought this to her attention I was told she can no longer represent me because it was clear that I did not trust her and it would make for a bad relationship...yea i would say so. It was an embarrassment of representation and a scam for money.
