Karyn was recommended to my Family by a coworker of my husband. We needed guidance and legal advice after my Mother moved in with my sister. This occurred after my Father's death and the sale of their home in 2012. Karyn has truly done an outstanding job in assisting us in establishing a Family Care Agreement. Her manner is completely professional, calm, helpful, and genuine. Karyn has also made suggestions that has made a tremendous difference in my sister's caretaking of our Mother. Karyn is pleasant and always treats us with respect. Our Mother loves her! Recently, we needed to arrange for a daily caretaker to assist Mom. Once again, Karyn guided us through that process. Her responses to phone calls and emails has been great. We see Karyn as an advocate, and not "just a lawyer". We are so grateful to her !

I am POA for a dear friend who has moved into Medicaid level of care. We had no idea how to start the process. We had the good sense to hire Kayrn Seace to guide us through this emotional and time consuming process. How do you rate an angel? Kayrn has set the bar very high: Karyn is very knowledgeable. Right from the first meeting, Kayrn gave us our marching orders through: the Federal, State, and Township guide lines. Who knew it took a village to guide one little 80 year old gem through the maze? Kayrn Seace. Kayrn was always there when needed, knowledgable and caring. My dear friend is well situated in her new home. Thank you Kayrn

The passing of our father 5years ago was an eyeopening experience. Our Dad was the most organized person on the planet. His personal safe was so perfect that it was like he was in the room with us when we started to unravel What his intentions were. Leaving my mom in good shape we needed legal advice to have Mom's personal affIairs in order for the future. As a family we thought we were in good shape. We were but we not well versed on estate planning, power of attorney, living will etc. The difference between Medicare & Medicaid was a mystery to us and we needed to be on tract for the future. Karyn was recommended to us by a business associate of my brother in law. Being the youngest of the family I have the resposonbility of being the primary care taker for my mom. To descibe me I am a butterfly with a sper. Tough individual who is a hard sell. After our first family meeting I was releaved and happy to have her signed on as our attorney. Wonderful with my mom ,she showed nothing but compassion and CLEARLY outlined what steps needed to have in place. My Dad would have really liked her. she is smart. Well versed. professional but down to earth. We now operate like a well oiled machine and have our ducks in a row with the ability to handle obstacles. HIGHLY recommend Karyn. In this day and age it's hard to find integrity.

Karyn Seace assisted our family during trying times. She helped us draw up wills, and, sadly, handle our estate after the death of a family member. Unlike many lawyers I have worked with in the past, Karyn had so much compassion and concern for our family's well-being. Her knowledge in estate planning and law is exceptional and I would highly recommend her. I felt as if I was working with a friend through a very difficult time.

My family had a terrible experience with Karyn. She both assisted us in a auto settlement and managed our finances for over a year. Over that time, she was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional which lead to us sever our relationship with her. She was just terrible at keeping us informed and responding to inquiries and she was downright rude and unpleasant to work with. We would often have to send 2-3 emails or texts in order to get a single question answered. She would routinely disregard our questions entirely or only answer the ones she felt like answering. While going through a settlement for our auto accident, there were 2 separate occasions that she told us she was taking care of something and it never got resolved. One case was when our car was left at the mechanic (totaled). I asked her if I needed to contact the mechanic about it or if we were going to have a bill for it sitting there. She said not to worry about it and that she'd take care of it. She never did and several weeks later I had the mechanic calling me asking for a large sum of money for keeping the car on their lot. I had to follow back up with her again and remind her to take care of it. On another occasion, my wife received a call about the ambulance bill from the accident. The company said that our insurance should cover it but that our attorney needed to send in a form requesting it. My wife then followed up with Karyn and, again, Karyn said she would take care of it. We did not hear about it for several months and assumed she had submitted the necessary documents but, when I recently checked our credit reports, I discovered that the issue was never resolved and now we have the ambulance bill from the accident negatively affecting our credit. Of course this is after we severed our relationship so we had to reach back out to her to see if she had any insight on it and she simply stated that we had asked for all our documentation (from her managing our finances) back and that we would need to search through that. She offered no further insight whatsoever and did not give us any information on whether or not she had done anything regarding that bill. Now we have to search through a disorganized stack of papers that is a mix of personal finances and accident documentation to try any figure out what's going on. We have no idea whether or not we can even submit this to insurance anymore as it's been so long and we've already received our settlement. On top of all this, she was incredibly rude. She, on several occasions, suggested to my wife that she consider divorce due to our poor finances when I wasn't around. She also, on several occasions, would bring my wife to tears after a phone call. One such occasion, she suggested that we have our 3 children under 5 (including our 1 year old daughter) sleep in snow suits so we could keep our heat lower and save on that bill. When my wife stated that she would not due that because it's potentially dangerous (there is a warning tag about it ON THE SNOWSUIT...), she snapped back, "Oh Allie, let's not pretend this is about the kids." All in all, a terrible experience I would not wish on anyone else.

She is well prepared and very knowledgeable in estate law. She will do all she can to sort out the issues and will keep you very informed of what is ongoing with your case. In Fact, I would hire her for my law firm if I had one.
