We had a relatively minor legal issue however the outcome could have been potentially negatively life changing. I found attorney Emkey on google and gave a call. We have used Emkey Law on more than one occasion. Most recently, my husband got papers in the mail for court accusing him of traffic violations, including fleeing and evading, on a motorcycle. We were stunned. My husband hadn’t ridden a motorcycle in 3 years due to a motorcycle accident where he broke his back and almost lost his leg, he even coded (died) twice that night, but pulled through. As a result he is not allowed to ride anything anymore, no motorcycle, quad, dirt bike, etc. All of the accusations that one officer claimed happened, caused us to go through multiple court dates , missing work and spending money on fees and trying to prove his innocence. Attorney Emkey was a vital part of that process. He was my husbands lawyer for his accident case, and was the first person I thought to call when we got this news. He and his team work tirelessly and went above and beyond to make sure that this injustice was righted. Not only did Dan do the normal “lawyer” stuff, he really went to bat, so far as personally meeting with the DA on our behalf. No one should have to endure being falsely accused of something like this, and it is my sincerest hope that this does not happen again and the officer responsible is brought to light for his wrongdoing.
