While I'd much rather be leaving a positive review, this experience does not warrant as much. In the spirit of preventing others from receiving the poor service I received, I submit the following: I came to Julie with a very simple, uncontested divorce matter in which I had done the majority of the preliminary work on. She wrapped up a few necessary, remaining documents, submitted them to the court, and informed me that I should have a final decree within a couple weeks. A couple weeks passed, and then a month, with no correspondence from her or her staff. At that point, I felt a follow-up inquiry was necessary. Her email response told me only what I already knew: that we were waiting for the Judge to sign, and that I would receive a digital and mailed decree once that transpired. She felt compelled to charge me extra for that. At that point, I just continued to wait. I understand that dealing with a bureaucracy can be unpredictable, however, as my attorney, and with the timeline of "a couple weeks", I would expect some follow-up on her part to occur. After a total of 3 1/2 months elapsed, and I was left completely in the dark, I felt certain my case had slipped through the cracks. After a reluctant inquiry to her, since I didn't really have any more funds to casually donate to uninformative communication, she subsequently followed up with her contact at the courthouse, and miraculously my decree was signed that very day. So, clearly my case did fall through the cracks. It wasn't delayed due to insufficient documentation, child custody issues, alimony, or any of the reasons a divorce matter could be complicated. She simply failed to follow through. It was an unnecessarily long and stressful process. I hope my review will serve to prevent an unsavory experience for others. Sidenote: she did credit my account for the uninformative email, but only after I complained and she defended herself by telling me that 'my frustrations were misdirected'. A reply you might expect to receive from a therapist, not the attorney you hired to handle your divorce, and only contact person you have for updates. I exercised a great deal of patience throughout this process, while simultaneously not being kept abreast. I believe my frustrations were directed quite appropriately.

Julie is a very respectable person in real life. her care and attention to details is impeccable. Julie always responded in a timely fashion and answered any questions in a detailed understandable manner. Julie also always tried to keep legal fees as low as possible. Thank You Julie...Tim

Paid a retainer to Matthew two years ago , he literally did nothing for my case .I found my self constantly reaching out to get things done almost as if they took my money and forgot about me . I expressed my concern to his colleague Sal who told me he would situate the issue . In which he didn’t , never even spoke to me about it after . Waste of time and money I would never recommend their services to anyone I care about . Left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to lawyers

Julie did my divorce and custody. She listened and was very understanding. She is very down to earth and Stands up for her clients and Family. I would recommend Julie 100%

Horrible Lawyer. Straight up ignored what I wanted, misrepresented what I wanted to the court in hopes that she would get a bigger payout herself and lied about what had been discussed outside of court between myself and the other party as to what deal we would have liked to reach. I would never recommend her to anyone unless you want to waste money just letting her do whatever she wants and ignoring any input you have as her client.

Sal Folino estimated my work would take a reasonable amount of time. It ended up taking him a fraction of that time, and so he only billed for the fraction. It's not often that someone comes in below the original estimate and bills less. He was also able to expedite it when I shared that I had a deadline coming up. This is only my first time working with this firm, but so far I am impressed with their efficiency and integrity. I am looking forward to calling them first for my future business needs.

This lawyer was a waste of my money. She just took my case because she wanted my money and didn’t do what she was hired to do she went against me and judged me for what had happened and mistakes I made in the past . Instead of doing her JOB and what she was paid for she spoke ill of me to the judge and other lawyers and did not fight for me and my rights at all even though I gave her evidence upon evidence supporting what my their father should not get them. She didn’t even try to help me and without asking me first she contacted people I did not want her to contact and told them things about my case. Then she wanted more money she blew through $4,000 in two months and wanted $2500 more from me. Now I’m out of that $4,000 and I had to let her go not only for her poor service to me but because I could not afford her anymore. She’s all about the money. She never even took the time to meet me and talk with me face to face. She talked to me also like a child. So I would not recommend her to anyone. Especially if you have some negative things on your side that your trying to combat and fix and people make mistakes were not perfect. She went off her opinions then just doing her job and defending me and supporting me and my side. She even I feel agreed with my child’s father it seemed . She was no help and if anything made my case worse. Thank you for your time reading this everyone. Oh and now on top of it all I’m left with no money to pay any other lawyer so I have to represent myself now.
