Didn’t even get through the consultation portion. During the very first phone call with Ken Kitay, my fiancé & I were on a 3way call to explain in depth my fiancé’s criminal case. Ken stated they “don’t do those” in reference to reopening criminal cases. Ok, cool, no biggy. However, as I was in the middle of explaining that my fiancé’s global plea still had an open and active case that he was still expected to go through the entire court process to be convicted, Ken places need on a hold without warning. In the middle of me talking, random music starts playing. Not knowing if he just simply hung up, or placed me on a brief hold, or transferred me to someone else in his office; I hung up. Extremely distasteful and unsatisfying & was of no help, as I initially told Nancy that my fiancé and I were just looking for legal advice and insight to see if his case was worth reopening, before we reopened it. All we got out of it, was a response of “we don’t do those”. Couldn’t just simply hear out the situation and give an opinion if it was worth the investment. This office may be great for cases that deal with workers compensation, accidents, injuries, etc, but horrible for criminal defense. Definitely a waste of time and if there was a charge for consultation, I would definitely be fighting to get my money back. Ken definitely lives up to how rude bald headed men are. *updated response to owner* I’ve received and rejected every call. I feel it would be an entire waste of time, as Ken has already told me direct, and I quote, “we don’t do those” (meaning he does not help with reopening cases) but to be completely honest; as I stated above, with respect to his response, at that point I was just looking for legal advice. Or, professional input on the outcome of the case, and how to go about reopening the case and how to even do that. So thank you for reaching out in response to me giving y’all a one star review; but as I stated, it really would be pointless now. But thanks.

Without the help of the entire Kitay Law firm, I know that I would not have had the successful outcome I have had. I had been injured on the job months ago as if 2020 wasn’t already going rough for all of us. Upon my injury I gave kitay law offices a call just to have representation should something go amiss with workers compensation. I couldn’t of been happier to of made the decision to get representation but also choose kitay law offices. I was working with Tom and Diego for the past 6 months and so grateful for all of their help throughout this entire process. They were courteous, kind, but most of all compassionate and empathetic for the entire situation. Those are the type of people you want in your corner.
