I entered into a VERY messy divorce in May of 2016. The first attorney I hired, as I later learned, did not have what it took to take on a large established law firm. As I was leaving court one day, I thankfully struck up a conversation with Attorney Robinson near my car....he was friendly and very down to earth. When finding out he was an attorney, I asked him for a card, and that I was not happy with my current attorney. After several failed attempts to move forward with my then attorney, I called Steven for an initial consultation. I immediately felt comfortable with his knowledge and experience, and hired him. He did more in 1 month than my prior attorney did in 7 months! He was always quick to respond to my requests, and he was always EXTREMELY prepared for our court dates. My spouse was not reasonable at all, and had a lot of money to back her in the divorce. On the morning when my trial was supposed to start, Steven gained an agreement, and my spouse received VERY LITTLE of what she wanted. I firmly believe that this was the result of tremendous preparation, and having good working relationships with other divorce attorneys. I would HIGHLY recommend Steven as a Divorce/Separation/Trial Lawyer!!

I found Steven after another attorney I hired would nod his head and listen to me, and then go and do what he thought was best and ignore what I had said!!! This attorney listened to me and then pursued my goals not his. Once he told me why he thought what I wanted would not work out and we talked it through and I ended up agreeing with him. He was forceful but not combative with the other attorney. It was difficult to reach him in the mornings.

Steven recently was the attorney I hired to modify my settlement agreement. He is tactful, and easy to talk with. I also found him compassionate and clear in his explanations of what my options were. He told me what he thought I should do, but left the decisions up to me. I did not feel like I had to fight with him to get my point of view across. He remembered what I had told him from previous meetings and was great at follow through. My emails and phone calls were all answered. Very happy.

He handled a child custody issue I have quickly and successfully. I wish I had hired him for my divorce. But at least I know who to go to with any future issues.
