Josh is very professional and made every step of my process painless. He definitely cares about his clients more than other lawyers. He has a great mind and definitely has great connections exactly what you need in a lawyer.

From first contact, we knew we were in good hands with Mr. Macktaz. His understanding of RI Law and how it may or may not work in your favor was excellent. He really takes time to explain all your options and responds to your inquiries in a timely fashion. Most RI law enforcement know who he is. His reputation definitely precedes him.

Josh did an incredible job on my case. I had the unfortunate luck of encountering a loss prevention manager at a Target who not only sought to charge me with shoplifting despite me not ever leaving he store with any unpaid merchandise, but called the police to serve me with a "no trespass order" (which does not require the police), leading to an arrest and charges for "obstructing an officer in the line of duty" and "resisting arrest" (neither of which I did). Josh got all of my charges either dismissed or put into a one year filing agreement to be dismissed in one year pending no other legal problems during that time. I am infinitely grateful to him for his counsel and for living up to everything he said he could do when I hired him. I highly recommend him without question.

Attorney Macktaz, was an all around excellent Defense Lawyer for me. First of all he was a good listener and an avid reader of my lengthy emails. Second of all he was able to obtain an excellent result from my case. To that end: Something came up during the case that I was questioning about the facts and Attorney Macktaz was willing to listen and include that fact differentiation in the negotiation of the eventual outcome. He was able to get 4 of 5 charges dropped and the last charge will be filed for a year and expunged after a year.. He also gave advice to me on a personal level which was excellent and very very helpful. He's a good guy and his Law Practice is outstanding. I would recommend him for anything legal which may befall the individual. He knows the legal field. Also his fees were very very reasonable.
