When I first met Laura she was an Associate working with the firm of Little, Maderios, Kinter, Bullman and Whitney in Providence.
Her primary employer, Christopher Little, is a personal friend.
I had recently sold my retail business and was being sued for fraud and "cooking my books". The plaintiff (a former Wall Street Executive) was hoping to destroy my credibility with his complaint as a means to abrogate his contract with me along with the 250K that he still owed.
When I appealed to Mr. Little for Legal help I was referenced to Laura Bottaro who I knew had to be a top notch lawyer if she was working directly for Chris Little. We ended up in Arbitration whereupon I was represented by Ms. Bottaro.
Observing Laura's composure and Litigating skills at work was inspiring and reassuring. Not only did Laura win my counter claim in full she did so without exercising any of the underhanded stunts that the plaintiff's "team" of Lawyers engaged as a matter of practice.
I have worked with many Lawyers during my career in business and as the Director of a Public Company. My entire persona was built on the honor and credibility that the Plaintiff and his Council were viciously attacking. Thanks to Laura not only was the plaintiff along with his lawyers and experts articulately and intelligently disputed, Laura systematically crushed their claims one at a time.
There were actually several moments when I found myself sympathizing with the plaintiff as Laura berried them with their own lies. It was a pleasure to watch her at work and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
