I called John frantically worried about my family member that was only 17 years and charged with several felonies. She has never been arrested in her life and she was terrified. Since September 2018, John and his team have been advocating on my behalf and on July 2022 after going to trial the jury came back with a not guilty verdict after about a 15 minute deliberation. During those 4 years John and his team was able to get me released on my own personal recognizance. When I first meet the team I had firmly made it clear that I did not want to take a plea no matter how lenient it was and during those 4 years I did not hear a single word about a plea. As some of you may know, some lawyers are plea lawyers and John is not one of those. I do not say that to say that taking a plea is wrong as in some cases it might be the best option but having John respect my wishes helped build trust between us. AMAZING ATTORNEY!!!! I can not come up with only one word to describe John. John was a part of my life for 5+ years while he defended my husband's criminal charges.
