I contacted Susan Perkins because I was getting a divorce and knew that mediation wasn’t an option due to the nature of the divorce. I did some extensive research on the best LGBQT+ lawyers in Rhode Island, and I kept seeing positive reviews and recommendations for Susan. Susan had the experience and professionalism I needed. I loved that Susan took the time to answer and questions that I had. She always made me feel like she was available, no matter how small or silly the question. The outcome was exactly what we had wanted, and what we were working towards. I closed that chapter in my life, and can move forward in a positive light.

I was having issues with custody with my sons father. I chose Susan because I left like she was listening to me and willing to fight for what I wanted. I have to say, Susan Perkins has every quality a good lawyer needs to make you feel comfortable in any way possible. She represented me in a divorce case and also in a child custody case on two separate occasions. She always responded in a timely manner, has great listening skills, and speaking skills. She was able to handle every curve ball thrown at her in court and understand and be able to interpret and respond appropriately. She always had my best interest, was very easy to understand and responsive to questions and concerns outside of meetings and phone calls. Her pricing was very fair for two challenging cases. She was always sensitive to my needs and ‘checked in’ to keep me up to date with either a phone call or email or both. I couldn’t have gotten through this without her. Divorce isn't pretty. Well mine wasn't at least. Susan helped to try to get it done as smoothly as possible. Since she helped my family in the past with other issues, it was a no brainer to have her represent me. She listened to all of my concerns, and boy were there plenty. She did her absolute best to make sure I got the best outcome I could for my case. Would definitely recommend her to others.

Minor with traffic tickets, my family has been using Sue for many years and have always had great out comes! She knows what she's doing. She made compromises to set my son up to not fail later on with with driving. My son is able to work.
