She advertises in google as doing pro bono divorces and returned my phone call telling me it will bec$3,000 for a Simple Divorce ( no property, no children, no assets or bank accounts), smh!!! Insane!

Nor a person who calls back contacted her an never received any response back even after she texted me to talk poor service .

Over the past 10 years, I’ve had to reach out for legal advise several times- Ms Perkins has always responded back within a timely matter - The way this world is - it’s refreshing to know someone that is so Professional- always finding the words to help me understand what to expect- she has never let me down with her words- I trust her, and highly reccomend her as a caring, understanding attorney.

Susan Perkins and her right hand woman Donna Conway know how to get it done. That's what you want in a lawyer, someone who knows the law, is procative, and handles action items in a timely manor. That is what Susan and Donna do, and they achieve the desired result. Should I need legal council in the future, they will be some of the first cards I pull from my digital rolodex.

There was some struggles and a breakdown of communication. Susan missed an objection to an agreed order which caused me harm in Virginia. It was stated in the Order and it has affected me. Orders in RI child support were not filed like they should have been. That being said, we had a hearing today, and there was a motion to withdraw filed which the Judge did not allow that for today. She is withdrawn after filing the orders. I believe she tried her best at this hearing today anyway and the Judge did sentence my ex to the aci for non-payment of child support. She gave me a copy of my file for the hearing. I am waiting to hear about repayment of $4,500 of the almost $18k I paid her. As the harm is there for the "premature move to VA" issue that has cost me.

My ex and I asked her to adjust our child support amount and we go they the state. She not only did not finish the job but filed the wrong paperwork and isn’t taking responsibility to fix the issue since she has since been paid and thinks it’s not her fault But ours. She was my ex’s lawyer and we both were unhappy and she cause a great deal of issues for us and never really cares about the case to even know what state he lives in. Worst family lawyer ever encountered. First time using her was to simply put an already talked about child visitation in place. Then she was going to argue with me on a holiday he didn’t want nor ask for and almost caused conflict between us over the matter. If you want someone that doesn’t really care about your issue or case and who just wants to be paid and done with it and act like she knows everything then by all means she’s your gal. Said there was no garnishment, knew nothing about our case when we asked for a mutual change in child support, kept saying CT when the one who hired her ( my ex) lives in NY. She did not ask for details or really care to look too much into what we asked and just assumed it was open and closed then when we came to her to tell her she did not file the right documents and asked her to rectify what had happens took no responsibility in it at all. Very negligent. And that is the truth. What we asked her to do we ended up doing ourselves and room much less time. She wasted our time and his money, she wasn’t even my lawyer and I feel bad for him and the outcome. If you want a negligent lawyer, who doesn’t really care about your case then she’s your lawyer.
