Bill is a great lawyer. I highly recommend him.

Bill was a strong advocate for the best interest of my children, as well as a strong advocate for equal parenting rights for Fathers regarding placement, religion, and medical decision making. What I can't stress enough is his vast knowledge of the Family Court laws, rules and culture in RI; his inciteful guidance with me during a very difficult period; his ability to keep me focused on what was most important, especially when the long duration of the process and multiple court appearances in Washington County Family Court wore on me. The outcome for my boys resulted in equal parenting time and rights w/their mother and me, along with a solid consent order. I highly recommend Bill.

For over 30 years Attorney William Balkun has been there for me legally which has grown into him being a very close friend ( always just a phone call away ) I have recommended him constantly, he is a fighter , he is the best of the best so knowledgeable. And remember no one really wins in a divorce ( it’s a death of a relationship) but he will get you in the best position) I have stopped by his office to find him working late at night !!! Need I say more ? Yes I dubbed him “ Brass Balls “

I hired Bill to be lawyer against my petty ex. I needed an AGRESSIVE lawyer and bill was just that. I’ll never forget the look on my ex’s face when Bill started asking him tough questions and my ex started stumbling over his words. I got everything I wanted from the court case!

First off Chris was the second attorney I hired. I want to State this so you understand I did have a taste of a different Law Firm prior to interacting with Chris. Chris is a bulldog in court I say this without meaning he is outlandish or over the top. At some point Chris was going against three other attorneys and completely mopped the floor with them. He has a Stern but forthright approach to representing his clients and I wouldn't understand for a second anyone using anyone else his office staff is second to none I couldn't be happier with the direct line of communication I received from all parties if you are getting divorced in the state of Rhode Island he is the only choice that makes sense his fees were almost half of what the plaintiff's team charged her
