We did not find Mr. Sundmaker to be effective, responsive or concerned about resolving a DUI matter. He did not return phone calls or letters once he had our initial payment of $500, nor did he produce requested documentation for the work that was claimed to have been done on our behalf.

This man spoon fed me to the other side called me names and told me he thought I was guilty. He didn't even start researching the case until right before the hearing. Unfortunately, tried using this guy a few times. He has no work ethic. He's got a real problem hearing any criticism too. He threatened to sue me for calling him lazy.

Wish I could say something good about this attorney or the experience I had with him, but unfortunately I can't. I won't go into everything on here, but this attorney will promise you the moon and stars and not deliver. He will lie to your face, has no accountability, a very grandiose opinion of himself. My ex was in contempt for almost 2 yrs and thank goodness for his attorney that made my ex do what he was supposed to do out of the divorce decree and made things right. Pretty sad when the other person's attorney indirectly did the right thing for me and mine did nothing of what he promised to do. I'm so thankful my friend and I recorded everything, kept texts and emails. So, we had proof for the Bar Association to investigate this attorney.

Mr Grossman did not do his due diligence and cooperated with the DA to cause son to lose a trafficking case. We now have two young girls that will not see their father for many years. Run as far away and fast as you can.

My ex-wife and I hired Grossman to defend our son who caught a ride from some questionable people in you from Pensacola to Atlanta where I live. He was asleep in the backseat of the car when he was rudely woken to being in the middle of a high-speed chase from the police. The driver and his wife were throwing drugs out the window my son was telling them the whole time to pull over and to let him out. Of course they were all arrested and drugs were confiscated picked up alongside the road along with some weapons and other items. None of the evidence that was picked up had my son's fingerprints on it or DNA or any physical connection to him. And yet my son is now sentenced to almost 30 years in a federal prison thanks to the inability of Grossman to object to things like the video of the car chase. Why was that even submitted into evidence when he was in the backseat of sleep. The wife of the driver even said that in a recorded statement. She also said a bunch of other stuff that went along with my son's side of the story and yet no one but Grossman could have gotten him almost 30 years and a federal prison. Now I know Christmas is going to have a response to this and how he did everything he could and what I'm saying is not true. Well if anybody's lying it's him. I'm not calling him a liar but if he contradicts what I'm saying then he's lying. Don't waste your money on Richard Grossman.

I hired David in February 2017 to manage a very difficult situation with my Dad who lived in Yamhill County at the time of his incident but for medical reasons we had to move him to Portland.

He doesn't listen to his clients but will take ur money and do nothing to earn it. Took over $10.000.00 from my friend and still did no better then a new out of school court appointment attorney. Never even worked the evidence just made a plead and then gave him a threatening of what he would do if he didn't take the plea.

I dropped off a summary of my case days before a scheduled telephone conference. At the beginning of the phone call Abraham asked me to explain the case. I mentioned the summary I had dropped off but he said he needed to hear it in my own words. Well, fair enough. Maybe he was testing my memory or accuracy. In hindsight it's obvious he hadn't read it. Not a big deal. However, he promised to do two things for me:. give me the name of an elder abuse attorney and get the police to investigate my case. On Google there's a recent review of a client who got upset because Abraham was supposed to call him in two days but it took a week. Well, I was stupidly patient. Abraham didn't do ANYTHING for me in TEN months. When my case goes before a judge I will have to explain why I let this happen, why I was dumb enough to trust Abraham.

Words cannot describe how great of an attorney Charles Grose is. I would recommend Charles to anyone that ever finds themselves needing a criminal attorney. I was facing some very serious criminal charges (something that I was fasley accused of) charges that had a sentencing of 25 years to life. Charles is committed to his job as an attorney, which in return means he is committed to his clients. Charles is upfront, serious and straightforward with his clients, he takes his calling as an attorney very serious. Charles listens to what his clients has to say and takes down very detailed notes when you meet with him. Charles is very knowledgeable and has the experience to represent his clients throughly. Charles knows the laws and was always prepared when we went to court. Charles did diligent research of other cases very similar to mine to get examples that supported his arguments that he was presenting to the jurors in order to use those examples as exhibits in my case. Charles was easily accessible: via texts, phone calls and emails with proficient turn around time in getting back in touch with me. I am so thankful that Charles Grose represented my case.

mr sisson represented in a restraining order case,sat through the hearing and said little in my defense,had he done his job the person accusing would have been charged with perjury,accusations were totally false.recently I talked to a local atty,about the case,it seems that Outagamie co.did not have jurisdiction in the case[case must be heard in co. where it occurred or in defendents home co.sisson charged 1500 dollars for doing nothing,i believe he should have known about the jurisdiction issue,thank you

I hired Rick to work on my divorce case. I didn't get the work and results that I would expect at his rates. After continued arguments about billing and him losing every plea in my case, I fired him. He then filed a lien against me in Martin County and I was forced to pay his ridicules bill in full. Never again, as there are to many other local attorneys that are more cost effective.. All I can say is watch out...

When it first became necessary to hire an attorney, Mr. Barlow made himself available to me on a Sunday afternoon in his office to facilitate the needs of my schedule. He was also preparing for a trial starting the next day and I thought that his willingness to meet with me on Sunday when he was preparing for another matter was especially client oriented and showed a sincere interest in helping me retain counsel as soon as possible to relieve some of the burden from my shoulders.
Mr. Barlow listened to my entire story and all of the facts and came up with a strategy which was virtually the same as I had anticipated being an attorney myself, though a different type of attorney. Anticipating a battle lasting well into 2014, I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to get to a final hearing in mid December and everything was over.
I found Mr. Barlow be thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate. He and his paralegal make a good team for anyone who needs competent and honest representation. I would refer friends and clients who might require services in his practice areas without hesitation.

I am beyond happy that I retained Mrs Bickerton to work my case for me. I interviewed several different lawyers before settling on this firm, and I firmly believe that if I had hired someone else the results wouldn’t have been as favorable. Not only did Mrs Bickerton manage to successfully argue my case, she made me feel like I’m an actual person and not just a number throughout the whole process. My many questions were all answered in a timely manner, her case law knowledge was superb, and on the one occasion she didn’t have an answer immediately available for me she made sure to research and get back to me right away. I found her pricing to be fair with regards to the service that I received. If I ever needed help again I wouldn’t hesitate to contact her, or refer anyone I knew needed assistance to her.

Once I hired her it took over a year for my case to go to court waiting for a decision that could have been expedited. Only time she would respond if it pertained to money. Didn't use any witnesses that were in place had an affidavit signed by strong witness and didn't use it. All she did was refute and did a case brief not even tried to prove the intent in court. Had solid information on the staff members involved deeming them not credible did not use it. Cross examination skills were very limited. Throughout and before we even went to court kept saying she could win on appeal. Had information and key witnesses to win at that stage. The prosecution had no evidence at all to present just testimony from people that weren't credible and the investigator admitted he didn't do an investigation only testimony. Lost a case to where there was no evidence only testimony. How good are her legal skills? Never could get in contact with her never returned phone calls would go straight to fax. She would answer emails every once in a while. Made herself available a day before court. Didn't have game plan in court all she did was refute and do a case brief. Seems as if she already knew she threw my case once I emailed her letting her know I lost she called me letting me know her prices for the next proceedings. After that pitiful display in the courtroom she should have gave me my money back or offered to do everything else for free. Why take on a case that your not planning on winning. Took my money and gave me very poor representation. Stay away from this attorney she's very ineffective.

So I called to setup an appointment to see ED and scheduled a time, as to note I had to take a day off and I also had to plan to go all the way to Ft Worth from Frisco. The secretary is very unprofessional, answers the phone like its a personal phone, even when I scheduled she rushed the whole process. long story short I get to the Law office on time and no one is there, after 30 mins of waiting the secretary rushes into the office, without acknowledgment. After an additional 5 mins passes she comes out, and with a dismal excuse, she says that Ed will not be available and that he is at trial, my question is , why not call and inform me, she stated she had no time, but instead she had time to go get lunch smh. Anyways glad I didn't spend a dollar on this lawyer. Note, your front end( Receptionist/secretary) is important, they can make you money or make you lose it.

Tom Ford refused to review the discovery for my case. I'm not sure how an attorney can defend you without reviewing the evidence. He did not inform me of court dates and I almost missed one. On another occasion he called me to inform me of the court date 30 minutes before it started when I live an hour away. On one occasion he called me screaming cuss words at me over and over and wouldn't even let me talk and then hung up on me. He was extremely unprofessional and just wanted to try to pressure me to accept a horrible plea deal that included prison time - WITHOUT even reviewing the evidence. Finally I fired him and when I asked for a copy of my file to give to a new attorney he said he didn't have one - that it was all in his head. The new attorney was able to actually review the evidence and negotiate probation for me. If I had stayed with Tom Ford I would be in prison right now.

Mr. Ford was the worst thing that could have happened to my case. My life is tarnished for bogus charges stuck to my plea deal. Where I should have been guilty of only one charge. It was a take the plea or else situation which it was impossible for me to win at trial. The parole board even released me years ahead of my scheduled release due to a more diligent & professional attorney that presented my case and the parole board learned the truth and did what they felt was right. Not only did he take my family’s money, he was poor at communicating. I do not know how he handles lesser charges but if your charges are serious.. PLEASE SEARCH ELSEWHERE!!

Kerry proved to be everything you don't want your lawyer to be: Incompetent, unreachable, late to court hearings, and to top it off he has a huge ego!
He calls from unknown number, to call him you have to go thru the switch board and leave msgs. Most of the time he doesn't even call back, and other times responds via email.
His customer service skills does not jive with the rate he charges you. As he is amongst some of the more expensive attorneys. He collects all the money upfront, that should've been a red flag!
Do yourself a service if you want legal representation stay away from this guy, you be better off with public defender than him

Lazy, Late, and incompetent. late for court twice. Had me plead guilty to a charge i wasn't guilty of. [Out of state residents are not required to register their weapons.] Cost me four times the actual amount of restitution. Poor communication. Tried emailing me that he was late for court because if he called his cell number would show up on my phone. [Who emails anything that needs immediate attention?] Told me to plead the sheet because he was too inept to negotiate a reasonable plea agreement. [why hire an Attorney if you;re just going to plead guilty to everything?] Charged me double the rate and said because it was two cases......after both were combined! If you are smart>DO NOT HIRE THIS IDIOT.

I retained Mr Sabbak for two separate misdemeanor charges that were a decade old. I live in Florida now, so I had to rely on online reviews to help make a decision on which attorney to hire for my cases. I decided on Mr Sabbak because he seemed charismatic on the phone. The first case he was able toget resolved, but on the same conditions that were presented to me 11 years ago when I had no attorney. He did get a warrant recalled for me, but then pushed me towards a resolution that I said from the start I did not want and leveraged the fact that I was out of state to get me to agree to the terms (a stark contrast to what he said he could accomplish on the phone). He did however represent himself and me well for the 2 sentences he said while we were in court. The lack of integrity comes in on the second case. He stated that he could not enter into representation on my second case since I had never been arrested and it was just a warrant. Thus, I had to turn myself in and make first appearance so he could represent me. Upon surrendering myself and waiting for my first appearance court, my charges were dropped. Since I had only received representation in one case, and I retained Mr Sabbak for two cases, I asked for a partial refund upon my release since I had paid in full for two cases. Mr Sabbak said that our retainer was a "flat fee" which wasn't indicated in the retainer and non-refundable. I was VERY adamant about my dire financial situation through our communications and had to borrow money to be able to retain counsel. I never received a response from Mr sabbak after expressing dissatisfaction about the lack of refund. Like I said very little integrity, I would never reccomend such an attorney.

I used Shannon and had a felony. She brought me down to a misdemeanor. Denton County was not working with me and on my side. Shannon used skills to let me be a free citizen and able to vote. She does not charge a lot at all. I forgot what I had paid. It was totally worth it. She works with you and you can make payments. You can still make payments after the court case if you did not come playing. Jewish woman are the most respected. Pick Shannon. She will make your case disappear or fight to get your voice heard. It took some years, but she did it. I am forever in your debt Shannon. Nothing, but love to you.
If anyone says anything bad about Shannon. You all have something against woman. Shannon stays busy and will return your calls when she finish court. Not too sure if Sandy a Edwards she still is her assistant. Sandy is very knowledgeable and delay messages. Power to women lawyers. You are doing great Sandy. Most of my court case I didn't even go. Sandy stood in for me as I moved to Georgia. Stop the negative reviews. Have some patience and shr will work with you about prices. I didn't pay her enough.

This lawyer is a fraud and completely sucks!!!!! Please stay away and plus hes rude and arrogant. I'm not a fraud he defended my wife in the 90"s when I was stationed at Fort Hood Texas and of course lost. Should have went with Dan Corbin and associates.

Mr Brown was hired by our family to represent a family member in a criminal matter. I am a criminal attorney myself with over 21 years of experience and I'm licensed to practice law in Maryland, DC, and Federal Court and I can say that Mr. Brown is by far 1 of the worst, rudest and unprofessional attorneys that I had ever come across. After researching companies that were successful in cases against HOA's I hired this firm 5 years ago. I asked if they could win and was told yes. February 2023 we had to agree to a settlement. In that 5 years we changed lawyers 5 times. I would call to find out what was happening and was always told that they were waiting on the HOA attorney and that's just the way this worked. I ended up paying this attorney more than if I had just paid the HOA fine. There is no real update from them, unless you call their monthly bill an update. The last attorney assigned did manage to get a settlement worked out. We took it because I was not going to drag this out another 5 years and 5 different attorneys.

This is a poor start. After speaking with the staff and an attorney with the John Miller and Associates Law Firm...
I paid the non-refundable fee, agreed to the initial date and time set by the staff and called 1 hour before the appointed time to confirm the appointment.
After the appointed time and 15 min before the close of business, I called the office and was informed that the attorney was not going to make the meeting.
Summary: the attorney did not display the expected professionalism and courtesy to take the time to call to me, and provide an apology and reschedule the meeting.
This is definitely a teachable moment for John Miller and his Associates...provide timely information to the clients and be more considerate of our time.

I dismissed him as council in Court, upon recusing himself and telling the judge he was not retesting me fairly I'd be refunded half of my retainer. 500$ .... it's been over 3 years. Still no money.

decided to end services after a year of trying to serve an individual with custody paperwork, because the other party chose to co parent. 2 years later, I have not received refund for work not done, and he is never in the office nor does he return phone calls. I really liked Leslie on a personal level. We hiredanother lawyer for a criminal case and he brought her in to consult as he was not experienced enough to handle it. She really knew her stuff and showed much compassion. We were supposed to have another hearing within a month of going to court and it was never scheduled. I repeatedly asked her what the status was and if I got a response at all she would say "I'll see what I can do to speed up a date." and nearly a year later we finally got her to have the court schedule it after going back to our original lawyer who had to contact her twice. I would not have hired her again for custody due to this but she was very good. I also looked up the docket sheet myself and saw that the court had scheduled this hearing for 2015, 2 years after it was supposed to be scheduled. I assumed this is what took so long and that it was not her not doing the job. I figured she was having trouble with the courts bc the hearing was scheduled and no one could find it. So, my husband and I hired her agin to handle child custody. I asked her she would be able to file papers the first week in Dece,bet and she said yes. The case took an unsurprising turn and so we waited 3 weeks to make a decision on what to do. We needed to add a lot more detail to our filing and decide if we wanted to go that route. We did and she was to file the papers the week of Christmas. Never happened. I did not hear from her from the day we returned the papers to her that week u til January 23. The response Ito was that she had some health problems and was down for a little while and she would see what she could do about a date. I knew then and there that she never filed the papers because if she had we would have gotten a letter in the mail from the court with the date. I have contacted her weekly since that day in January and gotten no response. NONE. I finally asked for a refund for the deposit we gave her and haven't heard back on that either. Surprise, surprise. She really messed up this case for my husband bc we needed to act on something his daughter's mother was doing immediately. She totally dropped the ball. If you can get her to respond to you though, kudos bc she really does know her stuff. What good is that though if she doesn't do the work you hire her to do?
