Back on 2022, my car was vandalized. As a victim, I've never hear back from anyone, even though I called , left messages, and sent emails. The prosecutor went to a different area, and from the contacts provided that were handling the case, a request for status and restraining order was never acknowledge. As victim on case 22-ju-06267 and 22-ju-06254, I can attest that the Constitutional rights for Victims of Crime, was never followed.

This place is absolutely terrible. I had a payment plan set up and they were taking money out of my account whenever they wanted. Some within 12 days apart. I called to get resolved and was told to show them proof. But they gave me the wrong email to show them. I called but had to block my number so they would answer to just get hung up on. I asked to speak to someone in higher-ups and was told he won't call me back because he is to busy. This place is a joke. They said if I canceled my agreement which I never got a contract or receipts from, they would garnish my wages.

Ms. Metts would not follow up on my e-mails about questions I had. She was not prepared therefore she did not fight for me. Because of her error items that was suppose to have been in the divorce decree were left out when I brought it to her attention Sept 2016 she said she would explain it to the judge so I can get an amended decree and since then I have been sending her e-mails and to this day it seems as if she is confused about what the issue is. Her explanation on Feb. 28, 2017 sounds like it is left to the opposing attorney for me to have the right to go back to court when the opposing attorney client( which is my ex-husband) has violated the judge order. Overcharged and was not represented.

My HOA has this firm on retainer. I sent an email asking our attorney how much he would charge us to write a contract for a project. The reply was 4 quick lines and we were billed $81 for their "services". I can't figure out how else I would have found out the cost of the project without asking. Insane and insulting....we may be shopping for new legal counsel shortly!!

I actually have used Gino for a number of matters and sadly the results are always the same. He is very smart, good in a courtroom, but unless you are a SUPER HUGE client, he quickly will drop the ball. This is not only my opinion, but the opinion of all of his piers as well. He has completely dropped many more issues than he has resolved for me. This is echoed by everyone who uses him.

It sure would be nice if I could be leaving a five-star rating here today. Unfortunately, not in my case. Instead, one star is one too many. I want to start by saying that I have nothing against Lane personally. He's probably a great person. For some people he may have represented them properly and kept them informed with the right amount of professionalism and due diligence we all expect to get from our attorney. He might have put forth the right amount of push forwardness that you needed him to give. He may have kept on top of things. He may have put in the due diligence to bring forth a fair outcome for them. They may be satisfied with his quality of performance. However, he didn't give me that level of professionalism. After 1 1/2 I had no choice but to accept the facts and seek counsel elsewhere. I hired Lane Heginbotham to represent me with my divorce. And of course, when he gave the consultation It all sounded great. If only I had known what a mistake, I was getting myself into. My divorce went nowhere. I was left feeling alone, misinformed, deceived and improperly represented. I trusted that I would be given a fair and equal representation by Lane. I was very wrong, and my time and money was wasted. As we all know those are rather important in everyone's lives. It became clear that my case wasn't important enough to him. Why file motions against the opposing side and then not follow through with them. Why were the temporary orders never followed through with? My "someday" ex-husband was allowed to disobey the standing order multiple times, make up his own rules, his counsel was allowed to be as leisure as they wanted with every request asked from them and nothing was done about it. I can't help but think that if I had behaved like such, I could rest assure the opposing counsel would have done something about it. That is most certain. Why make excuses for the opposing side and allow them to stall and drag out a divorce that should have been done and over with even with COVID, within a year or even much less. It's not like were Hollywood stars here. Lane would say he's working on this and that and I would wait and wait and wait... Just to find out that no progress had been made. "We're waiting to hear back from the opposing counsel" became an in every conversation sort of thing. I felt like asking if he was representing me or my husband. Then finally after hearing every excuse one can be told by their attorney as to why nothing was happening, it became obvious that my case didn't really matter. I was as transparent as I could be with Lane. I wanted to move forward with my divorce so I could move on with my life. I expected to be treated with dignity and respect. He didn't need to lead me along by telling me that the opposing counsel had dropped the ball when the truth be known he (Lane) dropped the ball! I trusted Lane to give my case as much effort and attention as he would any other case. Yet again the joke was on me just like in my marriage. Ha, Ha. This was not good attorney ethical standards by a long shot. I guess if you don't really understand or care about what your client is going through, how their whole life is hanging by a thread, then I guess it just doesn't really matter to you. Therefor you don't put in what's needed to get good reviews. How can a 50/50, non-contested, no minor children divorce be dragged out like this? Shouldn't there be a timeline of some kind. Can you just stall a divorce for as long as you so choose? Has our JUSTICE system turned into a JUST "US" system? Where's the justice here where's the humaneness in this. You may not be going through what I'm going through, but I hired you to be mindful and act like you are. That's what makes the difference between an attorney/lawyer who will represent you to the best of their ability and one who puts your case on the back burner for over a year. Good luck to those who choose to move forward with Lane Heginbotham @ Harris Law Office.

Lance Stewart took our case then never answered our calls his secretary which was his wife would never let us speak to him and she would preach to us on the phone about who we should vote for. We didn't realize that Mr. Stewart was a die hard Democrat that actually stalked our media profile and used that against us because we are conservative. He actually attacked me on a post about politics without my knowing because he used a secret profile thats not his personal profile he has ayleast 2 that I knew of then that I happen to figure out after he lost our case. He literally lost our case on purpose we feel because of his political discrimination. He never once ordered our records we had to call and have them sent to him because he said it would take more time for him to do it after he already stalled the case almost 3 years to the point of losing all our credits. He never prepared us for the case he showed up on the day to meet with the ALJ with no advice in hand and did not fight for us despite the overwhelming evidence. After losing the case is when we figured our he had another profile that I stumbled on that he uses to attack conservatives on local media sites mainly news sites. I confronted him on his own page I told him I knew why now he didn't work to try and win our case he told us that if the judge had been less conservative that we would have won the case so I said then you are saying the judge was being discriminative? He wouldn't respond to that answer and never said another word. I know he purpsly lost our case. All our doctors can't even believe our case was lost they just shake their heads in disbelief. They say we should reapply but who's gonna take a case that a lawyer lost for you with all your back time and ran your credits out? Who's gonna help us? I Pray no one else falls victim to this lawyer. One if my very good friends referred him to us and she was also in disbelief she was so upset she said she was sorry she even recommended him and that she would never recommend him again ever. Please do your research before just hiring a lawyer thats where we made this mistake that I Pray to God we could take back.

I definitely would not suggest Charles T. Hall. If my review of him will keep someone else from the same experience I had with him, I am glad to have written the review. I only wish I had written it years sooner. I saw his advertisement on television. I wish I had done better research to find an attorney. I expected more from him since he only gets paid if he wins the case. He only presented part of my case & I believe that as a result my case was denied. He refused to carry the case any further with an appeal. At that point, I was left to find another attorney. However, they couldn't pick the case up at the appeal. Therefore, a new case had to be started. But at that point, in my situation, time had run out & there was nothing they could do for me. I was pushing the 5 year limit of being out of work. Now, I have been out of work for 10 years & my conditions are gradually worsening. Between the spinal issues & the Bipolar issues, I doubt I will ever be able to work again. This has left me unable to contribute financially. This has left my husband as the sole provider of our 4 person family. Now, there is no help for me. I recently had a spine surgery & still need 2 more spine surgeries. Most days, I can barely get out of bed due to the pain. The daily pain that I live with has a major impact on my Bipolar condition. I truly feel that my disability case could have been won had Mr Hall presented my case in its entirety rather than just a portion.

I hired Mr. Bambury to apply for Social Security Disability. It took 3 years. I only met him at the end of the process when I appealed the initial Denial. He was exceptionally rude and refused to sit near me and did not talk to me at all, not even about my case. He did not contribute with my video hearing with the judge. I feel like a fool for trusting this person, especially since I have a Law Degree from a different state. His handling of my case was unacceptable and I paid the price for not doing my due diligence in researching NY State Law and blindly trusting him and his office staff.

My husband and I went in because the payment of 1414.00 with CCCS was to high hoping a bankruptcy would help. Kevin reviewed our paperwork he advised us chapter 13 would be about 900.00 a month knowing Bob had worked overtime the first 3 months of the yr he stated the payment could be SLIGHTLY HIGHER we should wait about 4 mths and my husb should not work the overtime the courts look at the last 6 months of bank statements. So with knowing this we gave him a retainer of $1000 only to to find out that the payment went up to 867/2 wks the courts go back a yr. We would never had gone this way knowing that the payment is only a few dollars lower, we would have seekked other options. He also told us to stop paying the credit cards, keep the car payment and mortgages current. Now we are not only behind in payments that we would have tried to make arrangements for with Bobs overtime we atre out the retainer fee.

Summation of my experience can be broken down to describe in a few words.....horrible service. Instead of representing you and doing the lions share of the work, they make you do all their work. When you have questions, they dont get back to you timely nor do they simply explain what to expect next or in the future-concerning your claim. Poor communication between staff. Nobody knows what's going on. Poorly organized. I fired this lawyer prior to getting my claim approved and still had to pay her 20% of my disability compensation. Mr. Valdez has no business holding a Texas bar license to practice any kind of law whatsoever. I have submitted a formal complaint/grievance to the state bar. He was a court appointed lawyer for a case i had in county court 186 in S.A. He missed completely more than one court appointment. A judge during his absence asked the court clerks in a scheduled appointment "is this the same Jerry Valdez that always shows up late if at all ? ". The clerk simply nodded and said "yes your honor". That's to say he has a well established reputation for being tardy and even absent from scheduled court proceedings. Do not for any reason hire this man. He is a crook, a lier, and has no business practicing law in Texas or any other state for that matter. I will work tirelessly to have him disbarred as he is a detriment to legal community as a whole.

Only briefly talked briefly with Mr. Linarducci. I had asked to speak with him so I can make a determination for him to represent ME. In our only conversation he seemed bothered and very short. I had asked his staff if could talk with him and initially they were telling me he's not available and need to go through the them. One young lady stated she was a paralegal for was was very unprofessional. Just because his office is in the same building as the Social Security office doesn't make a better attorney. Needless to say I obtained services with another attorney .

Worst decision I made was to hire him on a disability case . Promises you everything before you sign contract then he goes radio silence for months . Multiple employees come and go and there is no one quarter backing your case . I did everything on my own with no help from him - I voiced my displeasure with him multiple times hoping things would change but it actually got worse . I hope you read my review before it's too late ,otherwise I feel sorry for you !

Failed to keep in contact with me about my case. Didn't make me a priority. i Sent multiple emails to him in which he never responded to. Every time I'd call him he was too busy for me and made sure each phone call was shortened very quickly. Got no answers about my case. And then I find out he hasn't even looked at my case since December of 2020. It's may 2021. Very unprofessional and doesn't follow through with ANYTHING! WASTE OF MY TIME ON A VERY SENSITIVE MATTER!!!

I had attorney tracy represent me for a social security case. When it all first began, I was able to get in touch with him easily. As more time went on, I began being transferred to his "Senior Paralegal" Linda who was often times too busy to speak with me or on vacation. When I complained about this I was transferred to another paralegal named Kerry. She was great and easy to get in touch with. She seemed to know what she was talking about and always had time to speak with me. After a few months went by of me hearing nothing, I finally called and I was told that this is a long process and we wouldn't have an answer for 3-6 months. I explained that I knew a few people who were able to get on disability with no problem at all and they didn't wait 6 months or more. Eventually it seemed as though Kerry became annoyed with my phone calls and she started to become unavailable as well. Any time I called I was told she was in a meeting and when I complained about her not calling back I was politely reminded of the fact that I was not her only client. Seems like this firm has the potential to do well, when staffed with the right people. But as for how they are running things now? Absolutely not. I would NOT recommend using Patrick Tracy. I have since fired him and took matters into my own hands and I couldn't be happier. I was recently awarded WITHOUT his help.

I sent attorney Tracy a $2100.00 retainer in February 2009 to assist with a overpayment Social Security issue. After numerous letters and voice messages, I have still not heard from Attorney Tracy, and today is July 27, 2009. Based upon comments from his receptionist, he has over 200 clients. She had no idea of who I was and was appalled when I expected her to know who I was. I have spoken to Attorney Tracy's paralegal, Brian, but he has been no help either. Stay away from this attorney. He seems to be very bandwidth limited.

Unsure how to go about social security disability, we went to Ms Jones for help. Her communications were poor at best. The latest episode we waited 2 weeks after my spouse made an inquiry with no reply so I then made one. After exactly 1 week on no response I terminated business with her in writing. She then immediately writes a full page reply. This had gone on for a year and half. I came to her with severe nerve diseases, cardiac history..4 heart attacks, seizures, and a myriad of other medical problems. The only thing this woman was concerned with was seizures. Anytime you tried to correspond with her, her ONLY comment was that I needed to see a doctor weekly and keep seizure medicine and seizure journals. Seizures were the least of my problems. Finally, we told her that not working in 2 years, having no insurance, we just couldnt see doctors like that or maintain prescriptions. Yet she continued. We moved several counties away, Jackson Georgia. Continuously asking her where our case status was, she replied she was waiting on latest er records from a heart attack, 3 months and she hadn't acquired or other doctor records. Then, low and behold in the mail, we receive medical questionnaires from where? JACKSON Mississippi 4 states away. This was the final straw so I fired her. My wife and I went to the social security administration the following workday and spent 2 hours with a member there. We accomplished more in 2 hours than she did in 1 and a half years. Getting medical bills covered as I was looking at around 500k in medical bills. As well, she helped us apply for social security income until my disability is approved. She added into the system, my cardiac history which the attorney didnt. She added the nerve dystrophy and other nerve disease and other conditions. The ONLY thing ms Jones accomplished was setting me back over a year and half of wasted time. Afterwards, on advice from social security admin, I mailed her asking for a letter stating she is no longer involved in my case as at SS it still showed her representing and her to waive any and all fees. Over 1 week has gone without a reply yet again. On the advice of a DA, this coming Monday I will be filing a complaint with the Georgia BAr Association regarding her. This woman has absolutely zero knowledge, does not put ANY effort into helping her clients and expects you to do all of the work she is so desperately trying to steal your money for. If you find yourself in need of a SS attorney, go elsewhere, but first I would recommend going to social security and letting them assist.

This Attorney does NOT come to court prepared! Judge asked for a prescription that was prescribed to me and she did not have it in her file she brought. This Attorney did not catch an error a Doctor made on my medical file, that the Judge caught. This Attorney has multiple personal problems & uses them as an excuse! This Attorney would not return phone calls in a timely manner prior to and after my hearing! Sometimes returned calls would take up to as long as 3 weeks. This Attorney did not know what to expect from the hearing and/or the Judge and was at a loss for words and information when the Judge asked for it and when it was time for her to represent my case. This case was lost because this Attorney was not prepared and was not able to defend me in adequate manner. This is not slander, IT IS TRUE! Yes, I have every reason to be a dissatisfied client; she failed to do her job by not being prepared in court. In conclusion, resulting in a Denial of Benefits that were much needed! She refused to file an Appeal and waived further representation after receiving the Denial, leaving me to not receiving much needed benefits that I clearly worked for prior to becoming disabled; leaving me to cleaning up the damage she caused by HER NOT BEING PREPARED! BEWARE & USE CAUTION if you plan to use this Attorney!

Incompetent, unprofessional, and clearly more interested in responding to one-star reviews than in communicating with their clients. I reached out to Attorney Tipton-Downie at the beginning of June for assistance with my disability case (which was already sitting at over 600+ days due to mishandling by the SSA) and appeal. This attorney had come to me highly recommended by a member of my family who had done business with her before. Over a month after submitting my case to the practice for review, I still had received no word whatsoever. My family and I tried numerous times to contact Attorney Tipton-Downie, but were always met with some excuse (she's on lunch, out of the office, on vacation, out with COVID) and told that they weren't even sure if she had reviewed my case yet. After nearly three months with no contact from this attorney, I finally reached out to another law practice who was EXTREMELY courteous and professional; not only did they contact me immediately when I reached out for assistance, they were able to personally review my case with me and readily accepted. About two weeks after getting the assistance of a professional practice, I actually received a letter from Attorney Tipton-Downie in the mail stating that, "We were unable to open the disc with your records from social security. Please obtain another copy if you'd like us to review your case." After nearly THREE MONTHS of no contact, I receive a 4-sentence letter telling me something that should have been communicated LONG before and would have only taken a simple phone call from someone at the practice. Because they were incapable of accessing a simple disc, I was met with silence; the disc was later tested and found to work perfectly fine. I genuinely can not comprehend the sheer level of incompetence and lack of compassion demonstrated by Attorney Tipton-Downie. Thank you for letting me down when I was at my most vulnerable and needed a helping hand. Not only have you lost my respect, but also the business of one of your own clients who formerly sang your praises. I do hope you reflect on your attitude towards your clients; we are all disappointed in you. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors because it is apparent that you will need it.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Today is July 8, 2020, this law firm was recommend to me by word of mouth. I had back surgery on June 3, 2020 and was not able to drive from Savannah, Ga to Vidalia, Ga unless I had a driver. I contact the office and spoke with Pamela concerning obtaining help with applying for disability. After a phone conversation and emailing the start up documents needed in order for the law office to assist myself with my claim. Less than a week after my surgery, I was able to get a ride from Savannah to Vidalia, Ga to drop off all needed paperwork so hopefully obtaining help with my case. Each week I called to check and see rather they needed anything else from myself to get my case rolling. Still nothing... no calls no emails no nothing Next day still nothing. Today I called to find out Pamela no longer works with this law firm. Each week I called and ask for Pamela and all I got was someone will return your call the next day. Today I went to the office to pick up all my paperwork and my disc of my records so I can seek help from another law firm. Today, I had to sit over 2 hours waiting on my paperwork only to be told the lawyer was on video calling. Professionally was horrible, no response concerning my case nor any type of communication what so ever in a month's time frame. This law firm was a Big Waste of my time for myself in the month time frame they had all my paperwork needed to start my case.

What a Social Security & Disability Lawyer Can Do for You

A Social Security and Disability lawyer specializes in helping individuals navigate the complex process of applying for and securing Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. These lawyers assist clients in filing applications, gathering necessary medical evidence, appealing denied claims, and representing them in hearings before administrative law judges. A lawyer can help maximize the chances of approval by ensuring that the paperwork is accurate, deadlines are met, and legal standards are addressed.

If you are disabled and unable to work, or if your Social Security Disability claim has been denied, a Social Security and Disability lawyer can guide you through the legal process to obtain the benefits you’re entitled to.

When Should I Hire a Social Security & Disability Lawyer?

You should consider hiring a Social Security and Disability lawyer in the following situations:

  • Applying for SSDI or SSI benefits: The application process for disability benefits can be complex, with strict requirements and documentation. A lawyer can assist in completing the application correctly and submitting the required medical evidence to improve your chances of approval.
  • Denied disability claim: If your initial claim for SSDI or SSI benefits has been denied, a lawyer can help file an appeal and represent you in hearings. Many claims are denied initially, and having legal representation during the appeal process significantly increases the chances of success.
  • Requesting reconsideration: After an initial denial, you have the right to request reconsideration of your claim. A lawyer can help present new medical evidence or correct any errors in your original application.
  • Hearing before an administrative law judge (ALJ): If your reconsideration request is denied, you may request a hearing before an ALJ. A lawyer can represent you during the hearing, preparing you to answer questions and presenting a strong case based on your medical and work history.
  • Proving medical conditions: If your disability involves complex medical conditions, a lawyer can help gather expert medical testimony or additional evidence to demonstrate that your condition meets the legal criteria for disability.
  • Overpayments and cessation of benefits: If the Social Security Administration (SSA) claims you were overpaid or attempts to terminate your benefits, a lawyer can assist in challenging the decision and protect your right to continue receiving benefits.
  • SSI for low-income individuals: If you are applying for SSI, which is based on financial need in addition to disability, a lawyer can help ensure that your financial records are correctly submitted to meet SSA’s strict income and asset limits.

Hiring a lawyer early in the process can help you avoid mistakes that could delay or jeopardize your claim.

What Does a Social Security & Disability Lawyer Do?

A Social Security and Disability lawyer provides a range of services to help individuals navigate the application and appeals process for SSDI or SSI benefits. Their responsibilities often include:

  • Filing initial applications: A lawyer can help prepare and file your SSDI or SSI application, ensuring that all necessary forms are completed accurately and medical evidence is included.
  • Gathering medical evidence: A lawyer works with your doctors and healthcare providers to collect medical records, treatment histories, and expert opinions to support your disability claim.
  • Filing appeals: If your initial application is denied, a lawyer can file an appeal and guide you through the reconsideration process, ensuring that any additional documentation or evidence is provided.
  • Representing you in hearings: A lawyer will represent you in front of an administrative law judge, helping you prepare for the hearing and arguing your case to demonstrate that your disability prevents you from working.
  • Handling deadlines and paperwork: A lawyer will ensure that all deadlines are met, and that any requests for additional information from the SSA are responded to promptly.
  • Negotiating settlements (for private disability insurance claims): If your disability benefits claim involves private disability insurance (in addition to or instead of SSDI/SSI), a lawyer can help negotiate a fair settlement with the insurance company.
  • Fighting benefit terminations or overpayment claims: If the SSA attempts to terminate your benefits or claims you were overpaid, a lawyer can defend you in administrative proceedings or file for a waiver or reconsideration.

How Are Social Security & Disability Lawyers Paid?

Social Security and Disability lawyers are typically paid on a contingency fee basis, meaning they only get paid if your case is successful, either through the approval of your disability benefits or winning an appeal. Here's how it generally works:

  • Contingency fee: The fee is usually 25% of your past-due (backpay) benefits, but no more than $7,200. This fee structure is set by the SSA, and lawyers cannot charge more than this amount for SSDI or SSI cases.
  • No cost for future benefits: Lawyers are not entitled to any portion of your future monthly disability benefits. Their fee is strictly limited to a percentage of your backpay.
  • Additional costs: In some cases, you may need to pay for additional expenses, such as obtaining medical records or expert witness testimony. These costs are usually minimal, but it’s essential to ask your lawyer about any additional expenses upfront.

It’s essential to confirm fee arrangements with your lawyer during the initial consultation to avoid misunderstandings.

How Much Does a Social Security & Disability Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a Social Security and Disability lawyer is typically structured around the contingency fee system outlined by the SSA. General cost information includes:

  • Contingency fee: The lawyer’s fee is capped at 25% of your backpay, with a maximum of $7,200. For example, if you are awarded $10,000 in backpay, the lawyer will receive $2,500 (25%), and you will receive the remaining $7,500.

Overall, there is no financial risk in hiring a Social Security and Disability lawyer, as they only get paid if your case is successful.

Top Questions to Ask a Social Security & Disability Lawyer

Before hiring a Social Security and Disability lawyer, it’s important to ask the right questions to ensure they have the experience and expertise to handle your case effectively. Key questions to ask include:

  1. What experience do you have with Social Security Disability cases?
Ensure the lawyer has experience handling SSDI and SSI cases similar to yours, particularly if you have a complex medical condition.
  2. How do you charge for your services?
Confirm that the lawyer charges a contingency fee and that you won’t owe any fees unless your claim is successful. Ask if there are any additional costs for medical records or other expenses.
  3. What is the likelihood of success in my case?
Ask the lawyer for an honest assessment of your case and the potential challenges you may face.
  4. How long will the process take?
Disability claims can take time, especially if you’re appealing a denial. Ask the lawyer how long they expect the process to last and what the typical timeline is for cases like yours.
  5. How will you help me prepare for my hearing?
If your case is going to a hearing before an administrative law judge, ask the lawyer how they will help you prepare for testimony and present your medical evidence effectively.
  6. What happens if I’m denied again?
Ask about the next steps if your reconsideration or appeal is denied, including the possibility of further appeals to federal court.

How to Check the Credibility of a Social Security & Disability Lawyer

To ensure you are hiring a reputable Social Security and Disability lawyer, follow these steps to verify their credentials and track record:

  • Verify their bar status: Check with your state bar association to confirm that the lawyer is licensed to practice law and has no history of disciplinary actions.
  • Look for Social Security experience: Review the lawyer’s website or profile to ensure they specialize in Social Security and Disability law and have successfully handled cases like yours.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Look for reviews on platforms like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to see what previous clients have said about the lawyer’s professionalism and success rate.
  • Ask for references: A credible lawyer should be able to provide references from past clients who have worked with them on Social Security Disability matters.
  • Check for memberships in relevant organizations: Membership in organizations like the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR) can indicate that the lawyer is committed to representing disability claimants.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To get the most out of your first consultation with a Social Security and Disability lawyer, it’s important to come prepared with relevant documents and information. Here’s what you should bring:

  • Medical records: Bring copies of your medical records, including doctor’s notes, test results, treatment histories, and any disability-related diagnoses.
  • List of medications and treatments: Provide a detailed list of any medications you are taking, treatments you have received, and ongoing medical care related to your disability.
  • Denial letters (if applicable): If your disability claim has been denied, bring a copy of the denial letter from the SSA, along with any documentation related to your appeal.
  • Work history: Provide information about your previous jobs and work history, including details about how your disability has impacted your ability to work.
  • Social Security application (if already filed): If you’ve already submitted an application, bring a copy of the application and any correspondence you’ve had with the SSA.
  • List of questions: Prepare a list of questions you have about the legal process, the lawyer’s fees, and what to expect in terms of timelines and outcomes.

By preparing thoroughly for your consultation, you can help the lawyer assess your case more effectively and provide the best possible legal advice tailored to your situation.
