I was having some serious issues with both my employer and L&I, lack of communication with L&I, my benefits randomly getting cut off, total lack of professionalism IMO. I was referred to Sue Holm by a good friend of mine, I contacted her, told her my story, we discussed terms and I signed her on. IMMEDIATELY things got Infinitely better for us, payments came on time, if there was ever an issue I'd send off an email to Sue and it was handled promptly. I tried multiple times to gift her money, gift cards etc, because I felt that she was very under paid for the work she was doing, but she denied them every single time. Sue is very passionate and knowledgeable with her work, she doesn't take any gruff off anyone, myself included. If she felt I was doing something out of pocket, or had any issue with me at all, it was very direct and to the point. Which I absolutely love in a person, no beating around the bush, no guess work. I simply can not put into words the gratitude myself and my family have for what she has done for us in our battle against L&I and my employer, we thought we were going to be homeless, lose my job, even have to pay back almost $50,000. But we had a true warrior on our side, and it was worth every single penny. Even though she didn't get enough pennies. I do not recommend anyone else but Sue Holm when I hear someone is having an issue with work related injuries. And if, good forbid, I ever get injured at work again, even if it's a simple paper cut, I'm not doing any thing first before contacting her. She'll hear from me before a doctor sees me. L&I is not there for the workers, they're there for the corporations, you need someone that's there for you, and there simply is no one better than Sue. If she says "do this", GO DO IT! Communicate with her, and listen to her advice. When you need a dog in the fight for you, Sue is the Cane Corso you need.

We contacted a number of attonreys in hopes of finding someone who could help us with our daughter’s diability benefits. Sue was the only attorney who responded to our inquiry. Her response was fast and complete, and she was clearly very knowledgable about disability law. As a fellow attorney (who knows nothing about disability law) I would highly recommend her.

I had contacted a disability attorney whose office was close to me. He didn’t even listen to me or return my call. I was distraught. If you’re at the point you need a disability lawyer, you are already in pain and in need, financially. I read the reviews on AVVO on Susan Holm. I took the chance and called her. She screened my case during the call. She accepted my case. She met with me. After sitting with me for a few hours, we filled out what would be a saving grace for me. Susan’s counsel and advice and more importantly, compassion, helped me through the process. There are questions that she asked me that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own that I’m sure helped my case. I guess you can go through the system on your own but I wouldn’t suggest it. Someone like Susan has years of experience that will help give you clear expectations for your case. I was fortunate enough to have my case approved the first time through, within 4 months. I am not expected to return to work given my extensive health problems, but I am glad I will be receiving SSDI benefits to help with my lost income. Having it approved the first time is not the norm, by far. And by no means should you take away from me that your case will be approved the first time, or if it is, within 4 months. What I can honestly tell you is that I have no doubt that the assistance from Susan in preparing the application the first time did help. Susan anticipated what would definitely help. Her years of experience is so valuable in that regard. For me, going to Susan was worth it. I have no qualms about suggesting Susan to anyone seeking SSDI. I would suggest that before you meet with her, you gather all these important items: Doctor’s full names, their addresses, their phone and fax numbers, what they’re treating you for, the last appointment date you had with them, the next future appointment date, all medications you’re taking and for what conditions, ALL possible conditions you’ve been diagnosed with, and a journal of your physical and mental struggles. Also, employer’s FMLA documentation may help as well as the last 6 months of paystubs. I was prepared and Susan appreciated the preparation. Good luck and I hope health returns to you. But in any case, I hope you get the financial help from SSDI. I needed competence in a lawyer. I hoped for compassion considering my circumstances. Susan Holm provides both.

I had an unusual situation with my mortgage. Mr Weaver went out of his way to understand the issues and find a way to resolve them. He went above and beyond in dealing with the mortgage company and their attorneys. He was supportive and kind to us. I never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable. I would highly recommend him and his team for any and all problems.

Tim Weaver did a superb job handling my legal problem. Very respectful of my situation and a great listener, he never over-promised me anything. He is reasonably priced and my outcome (once he laid out all the evidence for me) was much better than expected. He did a great job explaining my situation and the options available. He even provided guidance on things I could do before we went to court that would ultimately be in my favor. He took advantage of every opportunity (no matter how small) that I truly believe eventually reduced the time and penalties I could've received. Tim's staff also did an amazing job "behind-the scenes" as they were always available to take my questions, provide information, or pass along my concerns to Tim when he was out of the office. Nobody wants to be in the position where they require an attorney. However, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Tim again if needed. He treats his clients like family members and never hesitates to go the extra mile for their benefit.

I am so thankful for finding Mr. Felts. I had been denied disability twice and finally decided to appeal. Mr. Felts is very good at what he does!. He explained everything to me every step of the way. If I had any questions, he took the time to make sure he answered them completely. The entire process was made very simple by letting him handle everything and just following his instructions. I filed for SSD after being medically retired from the military in 2016. I kept getting denied finally called Mr Felts and he helped me prepare for my hearing. He was very thorough. If he asked you to do something, write something do it. My hearing didn’t last long because of everything he sent the judge ahead of time my decision was decided at the hearing and I received a fully favorable decision. I would not have been able to do this without Mr Felts as my attorney. Highly Recommend him.

I would have been LOST without this team! They were very friendly and made me feel like I was the only client Mr Alston had. Everyone needs Robert Alston and his team on their side. It's best to have them from day one, that's what I did and I never regretted that decision. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. From day one they treated me as if I was the most important person in the world and they helped educate me throughout the process so that both of us would be best prepared to handle my disability case. A lot more items factor into the disability equation than the government informs you on their site. The disability law firm kept me updated on the continuing long and tedious process of filing, waiting, rejection and hoops to jump through. They understand and educate you not only on the legal issues, but the medical issues and their affect on you and your claim. They know you by your name, not a case number. Bonita (Bonnie) Porter goes above and beyond to help you with your application for SSDI. This is a challenging process and I know I would not have been able to do this on my own. I could not have had help from a better person. She is friendly to work with and it is obvious this is not just a job for her. She is committed to helping you get the benefits you deserve. She was always available to answer questions and promptly replied to all of my emails. She would make time to meet with me if needed. I know for my case she had to go through a tremendous amount of information and medical records. She went through everything and put together a case that had a successful outcome. I hired Bonita Porter to represent me in trying to obtain SSD. She was such a great help to me, I could contact her at anytime mostly through emails. This is a very difficult process to go through especially when your going through medical issues and I would get so nervous and full of anxiety and Bonita would listen patiently and reassure me every step of the way. I had pushed through severe back pain for several years and continued to work. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made to admit that I could not longer work. I thought filing for short term and eventually long term disability would be a fairly smooth process, but they denied my claim. It was at that point that I knew i needed legal help. I had a picture in my mind of what it was going to be like having an attorney, but when I met Ashleigh, that picture quickly faded. I truly believe God directed me to her firm. She and her staff listened to my story and responded with compassion. I felt more like I was sitting among family than in an attorney's office. Ashleigh became extremely familiar with my medical records and conditions, and regularly kept me updated on how things were going. When it came to appealing my denial, Ashleigh wrote an amazing appeal letter. It took a few months to get the insurance company to "see the light" but when Ashleigh and her staff called to let me know that my claim had finally approved, I think they were almost as thrilled as I was. You wont find a better team of lawyers! Not only did they take care for my situation and concerns, but they showed tremendous empathy for my circumstance and took immediate action. Mrs lewis has been working on my sons ssi for over 4 years after being turn down numerous times. Mrs Lewis stayed right with it she stayed right with the appeals and after 4 years my son received his ssi . I recommend Mrs Lewis she will fight to get you your benefits.

Handled my case flawlessly. Never had to deal with anything like this before, and heard all of the bad stories about it, you'll be denied, you'll have to appeal, etc. Talked to another attorney friend of mine, and he recommended Steppacher Law. Bruce was an amazing lawyer… As you can imagine, going through a custody battle is never easy or fun , he always kept us calm and informed and had our best interest at heart. Miss Blevins listened to my situation, as a Wounded Warrior at Walter Reed, analyzed it carefully providing a detailed back brief explaining what previous counsel had omitted and what should have been done during the time line that Social Security requires. Her analysis was spot on. Miss Blevins knowledge of Social Security and its processes was critical to fixing prior counsels’ errors. This knowledge was paramount in her legal brief achieving a complete reversal of SSA’s wrong opinion.
