Larry Pitt's 36 years of experience were clearly evident at our very first meeting. He outlined the strengths and weaknesses of my case, and estimated how long the process would take. He was right on! His staff emailed me frequently to let me know what was or was not happening, and we met periodically to discuss strategy. I felt in control of my case, and confident that Larry Pitt would do everything possible to bring about the desired conclusion. It took a while, but I am very pleased with the results he obtained.

There I was with recently diagnosed with combat connected PTSD, looking at the diagnosis of Bladder Cancer and facing a series of back surgeries that will leave me a cripple for the next 3 years. I was so depressed I wanted to give up. I had filed with the VA, going from one overworked and sometimes ignorant VSO to another. Some were helpful, but now I was overwhelmed waiting on the VA to answer, only to be denied or told I did not have a form filed correctly. My VA doctors were very good to me but way overworked and restricted by so many rules. Frustration and depression do not heal PTSD. Pain and the drugs the doctors plied me with made me a zombie. Only my faith in my God and Savior keep me from ending my life. My prayers were answered by finding Hill & Ponton on the internet.
Connecting with Lawyer Leslie D. Gaines has been a great experience. Leslie’s experience, professional attitude and patience in dealing with a crusty old veteran renews my faith in humanity. Her persistence, encouragement and leadership has won the war of many battles I could not have fought on my own. Now I can rest knowing that my wife will be taken care of.

In mid-2012, I met Attorney Leslie D. Gaines, a practicing lawyer with the firm of Hill&Ponton, P.A., Daytona Beach, Florida. At a very difficult time in my life, Attorney Reiter and his legal assistant Rachael helped me more than they will ever realize. Not just from a legal standpoint. I applied for disability and ofcourse was turned down so I went to Michael's office and spoke with Rachel. They did my appeal and fortunately I did get approved. Dealing with this was very exhausting to me and I 100% believe if I hadn't have had Michael's office in my corner I would still be waiting. Mr Helwig helped me tremendously through a very difficult time after my employer abruptly terminated my employment. I never met anyone like her in a professional capacity. I had an out of state attorney firm representing me and she was appointed by then to handle my case in Arizona. She had less than 2 weeks to prepare from over 2000 documents. I'm not sure how she did it but she did the research that she needed to on a very complicated case and I am ecstatic to say that we won! She was very professional, very passionate and very interested in not missing anything. I have been battling for disability since 2010 and I was denied here in Phoenix back in 2014. Nicole took my case knowing that it was a difficult case but she worked her butt off to get me approved and she did. She even went as far as driving out 40 miles to my doctor's office has to pick up my records because they were not faxing them or mailing them to her in time. She knew my case backwards and forwards and there was a lot of information. I don't think I could have done it without her and she was the correct person for the job. She's very tenacious and positive. She always made me feel like we had a good shot right from the beginning. Other attorneys would just tell me no and refused to take my case. Well shame on them because all they had to do is work as hard as Nicole did.

Let me regale you with the tale that this intrepid woman has gone through on my behalf.
I got out of the military on a medical discharge, with severe injuries leaving me unable to work. I applied for VA and Social Security Disability compensation.
I was denied multiple times for social security for many years, the VA gave me a high rating out the gates, but was lower than what their own paperwork stated I should be at. I had been dealing with the VA and SSA for several years with no progress being constantly denied despite meeting their criteria.
Fritzie has represented me with just these two cases for several years now. With dogged determination she managed to power through the ridiculous bureaucracy that is our federal government. We had to appeal my case up to a federal level and still she stuck to it and she won. She has had my case with the VA for just as long, to get the rating I should have had, by their own standards of rating. She has won not only the appeals for my total disability rating with the VA, but also the back pay award, the same way that she won the appeal for my social security.
Because of her work my life has been changed forever: Because of her work I was able to get old student loans dismissed, repair my credit, and afford a home of my own -as I was unable to afford one being unable to work- and have a life of my own again, not being forced to rely on my family financially just to survive now that these cases have been won and I am being properly compensated for my injuries incurred during my time in service.
There is no way I could possibly do proper justice to the depths of my gratitude for her, but I will say that she has a vast well of instinct and experience at her disposal coupled with determination to see things through.

Mr. Feifer turned my case around after one of the associates with his firm made me lose faith in the process. I was about to fire the firm until they reassigned the case to Mr. Feifer., He responded to my telephone calls after hours and even when he was on vacation. He was truthful with me from the onset as to the pitfalls of the law but fought hard at mediation to get me $10,000 more at mediation after the insurance company relayed their final offer. I am the representative payee for my adult disabled son. After five years of my son being disabled and collecting disability, his Doctor and I received a form to fill out for a medical review to see if he was "still disabled." I filled this out perfectly describing my son's day to day life and impairments. Although I am a medical professional, obviously I did not do this as well as I perceived as just before Christmas 2014, we received a notice stating my son was no longer disabled and his disability payments would stop in two months. Social Security was not at all helpful and gave me the run around re: the appeal process. Sometimes Social Security employees were not nice or helpful. I knew we needed help. I researched disability attorneys and found Jason. All I can say is "Thank God." He met with both of us and asked questions about my son's disability and symptoms. My son and I provided all the answers to the review to him however Jason worded it in the manner that SSDI requires, unlike what I had done in the previous summer. He was kind, patient, and understanding. There were a few times when my emotions got the better of me, "How can they do this to us?" These were the times when Jason stood behind us and helped us stand on our own two feet. He directed us in following the instructions on the appeal as they are not easy to understand, Jason understood exactly what they were and explained them in a manner that was both understandable and helpful, never degrading. On May 6th of this year, I received the notice from disability stating that after reviewing all the information, they found my son to continue to be disabled, therefore there was no need for a hearing. Of course I would prefer my son to not be disabled. However it is what it is and I do not even want to think of how awful this denial could have been without Jason. I wish I had known him and used him to initially get disability for my son back in 2009 as that process was not pleasant and took three denials/appeals. I definitely could not have done this without his help! My husband and I are now going to be using Jason for estate planning and our wills.

My wife and I have retained JASON ELLIS to represent us on two separate occasions. My wife was involved in an auto accident in which an out of town driver was at fault. Though both drivers were insured, the other driver's (who was cited) insurance company declined the claim.
