I grew up in Charleston but became an attorney in Florida and Georgia. Over the years, each member of my family has been involved in wrecks that seriously affected their lives. My brother was rear-ended at a red light by some guy going 45 mph and had to have 2 spine surgeries before he even graduated college. My dad was rear-ended on his motorcycle and thrown 75 feet. My mom was rear-ended on her motorcycle and ended up having spine surgery. Being an attorney, my family turned to me for advice on what to do, but since I'm not licensed in SC, I couldn't help.
