I was referred to Mary Murray after a bad 1st custody order and a second temporary order. There were a lot of moving parts from start to finish, that were very challenging at times.Mary jumped right in with a positive attitude and ways to perfect the items and details of the case. She and her staff worked diligently spelling out the details of the overall story line in our custody case making it work best for my child's stability and emotional state. She was genuinely interested in our concerns, emotions and fears through out the case.She treats us with kindness, compassion and has excellent knowledge of the steps we need to follow with our case to the proper end, She is not like any of the other family lawyers i have encountered who are just out to sling mud at other attorneys or jack up their fees. Mary asks for your input on the major issues and creates a competitive strategy that will work you and your family. My experience having Mary J. I have never met an attorney who cares so much for their client and the outcome of their case as much as Ms. Murray. I was served on a Saturday night with an emergency hearing scheduled five days later. I contacted Ms. Murray late Tuesday afternoon for an extensive phone consultation as I live in North Carolina and she promptly took on my extremely complex case that same afternoon knowing court was on Thursday morning. Ms. Murray and Kami worked all day Wednesday (after the other party refused a continuance) well into the night and early Thursday morning before court at 9am. My ex-husband and his attorney were extremely difficult, made outrageous and unreasonable claims as well as demands, and I was certain that this would be a drawn-out, complicated and extremely expensive case. Ms. Murray cut through all of the issues like a knife. Due to her intelligence, determination and aggressiveness she had my case dismissed the same day. She has been the most thorough and professional attorney that I have ever worked with.
