I am forever grateful to The Rutherford Law Firm and all of their staff! Even with the many hats Mr. Rutherford wears in the community, he still managed to make me feel I was a priority. My cases lasted roughly three years and he never missed a beat.

Unfortunately.....I did not take the advice of other reviewers and decided to give this law firm a chance. I believe in supporting black businesses, that way of thinking has cost $1000 nonrefundable with this law firm. Lets start by I have not actually spoke to a single attorney in 3 months , not even the day before court always an assistant. If you do go , ask how long will it be before you can speak to an attorney. . . I promise it won't be immediately. 2nd , A staff Member has a tendency to be rude/combative/argumentive over the phone (toothpick legs, anorexia) remember that. Please people, spend your money wisely some where else. Fortunately for me I can afford that $1000 lost and eat another $2000 lost without braking the bank but you can avoid it by going to a better law firm.

*************************WARNING*********************************** I am a past victim of this law firm and would advise anyone seeking legal counsel to avoid any representation from this firm. Within the years time that I was being represented by this law firm, I requested on several occasions to have a one on one meeting with Attorney Rutherford but to no avail. Also, within the year I had two scheduled court appearances. Sad to say that Mr. Rutherford did not appear in court on either occasion. I was ask to pay an upfront fee of $1500 which I did and was promised a resolution to my civil case. Instead, I was mislead taken advantage of and ultimately had to terminate my legal agreement with this firm. I requested to be refunded the difference from the initial $1500 fee I paid and was told it was non refundable. I am taking the time to write this review in an effort to help warn other individuals from being taken advantage of in their time of legal need.

I own a large academic childcare in Sumter S.C. over 140 children and had a DSS supervisor who would site me unreasonably. This was in process for over 2 years and it finally came to a point my license was in jeopardy, I felt i was going to lose my business.. I'm 56 years old and have been teaching children 35 years so this was my passion and really my whole world!!! I was referred to Todd by my local legislators and within 3 weeks the problem was solved and and i have a new supervisor!!! I cant thank Todd Rutherford enough.....I cried with relief when I got the news and so did my parents!!!!! Highly recommend this firm!!!

My experience with them is Todd rutherford is never there so u can't talk to him only on the phone that the woman at the front desk give you the phone to talk with him so u will never talk to him.2 I only own them 700 more dollars but they said i own them 900 in I had my papers to proof it but the woman at the front change the amount in my face with a pin in said I own them 900 dollars.4 is Todd rutherford got my case throw out but I didn't know they didn't call me or anything to let me know anything. 3 they do not tell you the truth... But overall I give Todd rutherford a 8 but the law firm a 1 or 2 star it's just the people working there suck .his a good lawyer
