Very professional staff. Mrs Washburn really looks out for the clients best interest. They are also very involved in giving back to the community.

I hired Wylie and Washburn to close my home sale because my realtor assured me that she works with them regularly and they do great distance closing processes. The buyer's attorney submitted their paperwork late, and they turned things around in an hour at Wylie and Washburn. However, despite me asking my realtor (and my realtor assuring me that she was in touch with the lenders and the lawyers and making sure everything was on track) once or twice a week whether they had everything they needed, no one reached out until 5pm on a Tuesday (closing that Thursday at 11am) to let us know that all the closing documents would be emailed to us and they would need to be printed, filled out correctly, signed, notarized, and mailed back. As first time home sellers, actively seeking direction and information, in a time when a lot of things are done exclusively through docusign, we needed a lawyer who would communicate the process to us and help us get things right. What we got was a lawyer who waited until the last minute to communicate with us, and who, when they did communicate, did not communicate critical details of what they needed from us promptly and clearly. Also, my husband's social security number was mis- entered on multiple documents as having 9 digits, not 10. Additionally, when I politely and firmly communicated my displeasure with the status of their customer service, Jadda Wylie refused to take responsibility for poor service and basically told me it was my fault, and the buyer's attorney's fault. Maybe that works for other lawyers, but where I come from, when you mess up, you apologize, and you ask what you can do to make things right. Poor communication, unwilling to take responsibility for their role in creating a problem, and unwilling to apologize. I will never work with them again. Given the service they were offering-- a distance closing process-- there should have been a clear statement of process issued to us at the beginning of the working relationship outlining our responsibility for scheduling time and resources to print, notarize, and return paperwork. There should have been communication with the buyer's attorney that, due to sound a distance closing process, their paperwork was due a week early. There should have been communication with us last week when the buyer's attorney was late with paperwork, and we could have worked together to encourage a faster timeline. Examples of paperwork to sign could and should have been sent ahead of time to make our review process easier and afield us to ask any questions we might have about the process in manner that didn't rush anyone. There certainly could have been mention during the phone call we got Tuesday morning of how this process worked and what was expected, not just a simple "I will send documents later this afternoon, " which is also what anyone says when they send a docusign link. Much and more could have been done, proactively, to prevent problems. What there should not have been was an assumption that all the resources required to make this happen were standing by, waiting. From my perspective, this team of lawyers had 6 weeks to do their work ahead and communicate when they hit road blocks and they did not do that. Very disappointed. I wish I had hired someone else.
