I spoke with several other attorneys in the Myrtle Beach area after I got into a bit of a jam with the legal system when down in Myrtle Beach. I needed to find an attorney that would take genuine interest in my case. My career requires that I have an impeccable record as I have security clearnences that would jeopardized if convicted.. I explained the situation and my account to several other attorneys as i moved down my list of them from this site and general internet searches.. All of whom I had to jump through their paralegals to get ahold of. They were all quick to offer potential outcomes which benefitted them - plea bargains / pleading to a lesser charge / community services. They are more interested in getting your money versus the pursuit of justice. Then I spoke with Lacey directly and it was a breath of fresh air. She is passionate about justice and got just as fired up about my case as I was. Unlike the other attorneys who threw out possible solutions that put their best interests first, Lacey does not mind going to trial. This is the fire and drive you too deserve. Lacey and her paralegal were quick to file a motion to get the officer's body cam footage and the relevant police report. My case was eventually dismissed. If you want to be a number call one of these other firms that send out solicitations. If you've been arrested you'll be getting flooded to the likes of cheesy 8x10 Glamourshots of the same photo you see plastered on billboards all over Myrtle Beach. Be smart and realize these firms just want your money - they are machines. Time is money to them. This is your life and your future. All Lacey does is Criminal Law. Any attorney that is worth their weight specializes in specific areas. And Criminal is the toughest game with the biggest risk. If you are considering others and they offer Criminal / Personal Injury and Wills ..... proceed with caution. At the risk of sounding cheesy here, I will say that I feel like God had his hand in connecting me with Lacey. I was hesitant at first because of her time at practice but can absolutely tell you this - have no fear. You want someone that is hungry. Hope this helps.

You and your staff (Mindi) were always there for us to answer questions, give advice and many times just to simply offer support and comfort. You were really there for me and my family in such a way that I cannot place a value on it! Not to mention that you were able to get the case dismissed and all charges expunged before court was even called to order. You truly offered an invaluable service! From the moment I spoke to Lacey Lee during our consultation, I felt better about my case. I spoke to multiple lawyers before consulting with Lacey, and none of my previous consultations were positive experiences in comparison and none of the previous lawyers were as confident in obtaining the result I was seeking. Lacey had justification for her confidence; during our consultation, she immediately laid out an aggressive plan of attack (I was in awe in comparison to previous lawyers' plans) along with three back-up/contingency plans. Not only was she confident in obtaining a dismissal, but she was not willing to settle for anything less - and she did not settle for anything less. Lacey assisted my husband with a speeding ticket he got last fall, that could have become very expensive and affected his business. Once we provided her with all our information, we basically had to do very little, she negotiated all the paperwork and provided us with options to resolve it in the best way to fit our family. Our results were more than we had hoped for and we cannot thank Lacey & all the staff for their help!! They kept us up to date on what was going on and made the resolution to this very painless and we are very happy with the outcome!

First of all, i hardly ever write reviews, but lacey went above and beyond for me. I got into some trouble while on vacation in surfside beach, south carolina. I had a 3 or 4 charges against me and am from cincinnati, ohio. I didnt know how any of this was going to work. I called a few lawyers that weren't very helpful until I found lacey's law office. She seemed totally eager to help me out, and the price was very fair compared to the others I had called. All in all, i was worried about how I was going to travel back to SC to go to court and she was there, fighting for me every step of the way. Even though, it was a tough battle, she never gave in to any of the plea bargains and my case was totally dismissed. Anyway, highly recommend lacey!! She always let me know what was happening, every step of my case, and her and her co workers (mindi) knew me by name if i were to call. Thats a really good feeling. She knew exactly what she was doing and I always had a positive intuition everything would be taken care of, to our advantage. Again, on top of all that, she was totally affordable. Best lawyer I've worked with to date!
