I would recommend Mr. McWilliam to anyone he is a great attorney and works hard for his clients and so does his paralegal Aimee. I was seeking full custody as a single mother and funds are tight but he has worked with me through my situation and I was recently awarded full sole custody of my son I couldn't have ask for a better turn out. He is very detailed and honest and will take the time to listen to your request and will see that your turn out is for the best! If you are seeking a attorney for a family court issue don't waste another min and give his office a call they will be glad to help you!

Honesty, Integrity and service are alive and well at this law firm. I hired Mr. McWilliam initially due to his upfront and honest approach. Right from the start I knew he was someone that I could trust my future to. He shot me straight and told me what could and couldn’t be done. David worked on my divorce as well as a few rule to show cause motions. He gave excellent counsel, filed motions and replied to emails/phone calls promptly, and his prices were reasonable. I will definitely use David's services in the future if the need arises.

I selected a lawyer based on three factors. First, I had limited funds and could not afford a high hourly legal fee. Second, I wanted a lawyer whose specialty was divorce. Third, I wanted assurance that the large $ amount I paid over seven years to the wife would be applied to the settlement. To my disappointment David told me straight up that he could not guarantee that my payments would be included in the settlement. I appreciated his honest appraisal. However, he won that battle, and did get it included. Aimee, the paralegal, was very helpful and friendly. One thing I think was a good personal touch. I would pop in the office once in a while to ask Aimee a question or pay a bill. If David's office door was not closed, or he was not on the phone, he would come out to see me. During the mediation process David was very skillful in managing a tense situation with a very aggressive wife. I was glad I was not alone. The final hearing went smooth in about 15 minutes, because he was well prepared. David McWilliam fulfilled all three factors who I would give six stars to.

Coming to David in the "11th hour", I did not know what to expect would be the outcome of my case. With so little time to prepare what I needed, David gave me clear direction and step-by-step instruction on how to collect necessary information for my case. He worked tirelessly and when we arrived at court, the rapport he had with the York County judge was absolutely amazing. David was very professional and at the same time he had an amazing kindness and sensitivity to my particular situation that was evident in every conversation we had. Though I was on a very limited budget, David expedited the process to accommodate. His paralegal Aimee was unbelievably helpful saving me lots of time and encouraging me throughout the process. After the hearing she even called me to see how I was doing and we laughed and celebrated over the phone at the positive outcome of my case. I would recommend David to anyone seeking justice and authentic personable support.

I cannot, in good faith, recommend Mr. McWilliam as an attorney. I have worked for attorneys and the legal system for 33 years. I have never seen an attorney take advantage of an elderly person the way Mr. McWilliam has done a family member of mine. He found out that there was a substantial amount of family money, investments and property and said he would be able to represent this person and there would not be any problems with solving the situation. This woman is now in much worse financial shape and does not even have money to pay all of her obligations. He took the $9,000 she had in her savings. There was a mediation that he showed up for and he was not dressed in a professional manner. It appears that he is only concerned with making money, but not a persons situation. It did not appear that he was that familiar with the law, as the mediator had to advise him to do something that should have been done prior to mediation.
