Brooks was a pleasure to work with. Always is professional and honest. Brooks is one of the people that saved my son's life. My son was going through some serious stuff and Brooks is the person that listened to him and helped him get to where he needed to be. She was very thorough with everything. 5 stars isn't enough for what she has done. Also her receptionist Ginger is always very pleasant and helpful as well. Thanks y’all for everything!

Ms. Moss is a very professional, knowledgeable, and just attorney. I greatly appreciate her expertise and fairness. She is truly a child advocate!! Thank you for all you do!!

This women gets no stars from me! She is a liar and a money hungry person with no soul she has NO business deciding anything for any child because she is far from fit!!! Im not writing because i lost my case i'm writing this review to warn everyone to stay far from her! She never stepped foot in my house to make sure it was safe for the child! She never answers your emails and send as least as possible because she will charge you Ungodly amounts of money to not read or do anything about it! She was sent pictures of my daughter’s tooth and a rash she had and DID nothing but she is for the child??? Lastly after charging me a stupid amount of money i sat up a payment plan with her bc i got CANCER and had 6 surgeries over 8 months literally fighting for my life still paid her and when she gave me a dead line of 3400 i couldn't pay all that at once bc i had been out of work for over a year with cancer so she had me arrested and was getting paid every other week of what i had no less then a hundred each time !!!SICK uncaring no remorse soulless women. She cares nothing about the child she represents. All the bills paid to her plus all the emails updating her with no response!!!! Don't trust your child with this women! When other people at the county and court house shake their head in disbelieve of her having me arrested!!!! She will answer to God for all of her lies and lack of remorse for anyone but her money hungry hands and she lets it known she is unstoppable in the spartanburg court house! Who wants a bully representing their child??? God will deliver to her what she has done to so many families

This is the best lawyer I have had. I would tell all my friends about my lawyer if they ever need one. I would defently send them to her..

She was the guardian at litem when my mother sued me for custody of my son. Singular, one son. This woman was so blind that she didn't even realize I had another son. I ended up getting my oldest son back. Wanda Barkley didn't want him so much after she got his social security check in her name. He lived with me, graduated high school in SD and had jobs. At one time he even had his own apartment and was doing well. Then his father called saying he had cancer. My son rushed to see his dad, got into some trouble and got stuck there a month after he turned 19. He ended up getting on fentanyl and dying just 17 days after his 20th birthday in the home of the woman you thought was so great. Don't believe me like you didn't then? Look up his memorial. See where the teachers are from. Ask her how long she kept his check vs how long she kept him or contact social security. While you're at it, ask her why she didn't get him in rehab or call me to say he had previously overdosed at her home. Don't worry, you sided with his father too. He also overdosed there and no one looked for help or notified me. But, maybe it's a racist thing. What else could it be? You didn't see my clearly biracial son sitting there not being included in how I was the bad mother i supposedly was. You didn't ask her what her motives were. Like you clearly told me, you're not a psycologist. You're not an Good advocate either. My son would have died years ago if I wouldn't have gotten him back. I did it through other measures. You have corrupted the court system and who knows how many families. You're probably only a guardian at litem because no one hires you. You can't be this incompetent and successful without people being forced to pay you. Her response speaks volumes. She was the guardian at litem on this. I think she's on drugs or just trying to get out of the truth. Can a real lawyer please reach out to everyone telling the truth about her? She's ruining families across the county.

This woman is unethical. She should be disbarred. She doesn’t care if innocent people get in her path of destruction. She has no business having any input in the lives of innocent children as a guardian ad litem. She writes a biased report filled with untruths and leaves out pertinent information even if you bring it it her attention MULTIPLE TIMES. The most shocking thing in our case was she stood up in the court room and lied. She said I called her office and said my son was on drugs. A son who I am riding his coattails to see a child I raised, my granddaughter. My son and his ex wife were in a custody battle and she immediately took sides with the mother because we fired her friend, Rachel Brough, who was our attorney seeking visitation with our granddaughter who we raised for the first 8 years of her life. Her mother alienated our entire family when she and my son split. Our attorney, Rachel Brough, appointed Ms. Moss to our case as GAL in order to help us since she filed the wrong complaint ( 90 day grandparent alienation) and we got no visitation awarded by the Judge since at the time we had not been alienated 90 days. Rachel Brough should have filed a psychological de facto parent complaint. So our case was totally botched and we had to get our son an attorney to see his daughter. We fired Rachel Brough. Enter Brooks Moss. She had it in for us from the start since we fired her friend who appointed her to our case. She made sure she prevented us from seeing a child we raised. This woman is a liar and a disgrace. I filed a 2 inch report on all the lies in her GAL report with The Office of Disciplinary Council in Columbia. They told me they have no jurisdiction over attorney GALs. They told me she would have to be admonished by the Judge. When Brooks Moss stood up and lied in Judge Bridges courtroom ( saying I called her office and said my son was on drugs!!!!) I immediately asked to be sworn in ( which I was) and disputed what B. Moss said. We had already presented Judge Bridges with our grievance booklet on Brooks Moss. The Judge didn’t even look at it nor did she acknowledge a word I said. She did nothing but grant the motion for this crooked liar, M Brooks Moss, to up her exorbitant fees to 15 grand. Do not ever go to this woman. If I can find a way to sue her- I’m going to !!!! For some reason… my review has been deleted twice. I believe the crooked, unethical, lying Brooks Moss had something to do with it.

If you are a female you might stand a chance! Out to separate father’s from their kids hands down. Has no problem lying under oath and huge ego! Unfortunately In South Carolina there is no oversight on guardian ad litem. Will charge a ton of money but never do more than email or call. Has no problem invoicing bills but no follow through unless it’s aiding your ex in alienating the entire fathers side of the family!
