So friendly. Holliday Ingram was polite and professional. Friendly, kind and considerate. We even shared some laughs. It was an amazing closing experience. And we have been through 7 closings. However, I learned that in the upstate buyers and sellers are both present at the same time during closing. This was in no part Holliday Ingram's actions but merely a general practice in the upstate. Personally, for me it was awkward. I listened to financial information regarding the sellers that I would prefer not to hear. I also met the listing agent, and after a purchasing process of dealing only with a buyer agent and never meeting the listing agent, it was again awkward. When we sell, we will absolutely come back to Holliday Ingram but we will request a private closing. Hopefully it is a service they can provide. But as I said this has nothing to do Holliday Ingram as they are fantastic, just sharing some information for others who might be purchasing from out of state. Be prepared, for an in-person closing both buyer and seller sit at the same table.
