I found myself in need of a good bankruptcy attorney and that’s exactly what I got with Melinda Pennington! She’s very intelligent and extremely knowledgeable about all types of bankruptcy. She truly wants to help you and does not judge your situation at all. It can be an intimidating process and she guides you through it with her expertise in a way you can easily understand. I was so fortunate to have found her and you won’t find a better attorney than her!

My experience with Ms. Pennington was a positive one and would rate it a B+ Or A. Start to finish the bankruptcy process took four months. Her office offers payment plans up to sixteen months before one begins the paperwork to start the bankruptcy process. Luckily I was able to pay mine off in two months. All of my interactions and appointments were done over the phone during a seven week period in preparing my petition for the 431 meeting. Her prices were reasonable at the time of this review it was $1300 plus $100 for the means test for chapter seven. During my research other lawyers were charging anywhere from $1500 to $1800 for less preparation. I was very naive to the whole process to how bankruptcy works nor did I know anybody I could ask questions. Between my own online research and Ms. Pennington working on my behalf it made the whole process easier to handle and endure.

My attorney Malinda Pennington walked me through every step of the process and was available to answer my questions and explain the legal jargon to me. She made sure I was prepared for the hearing and was sensitive to my anxiety. Thank you ma'am for all of your help!
