A poor decision from 12 years ago came back to haunt me because I moved from NC to SC and the states did not communicate with each other that I completed all of their requirements for a dui. Imagine my surprise, when I got a letter in the mail after 12 years saying that my liscence would be suspended for something I had already taken care of! None of the dmv’s or courts would even hear me out. Everyone sent me to somewhere else and treated me like a criminal that tried to get out of doing my time, when really, I’m just a father, husband and working man trying to take care of my family that made a bad decision 12 years ago. Mr. Kappel was able to share my story with the right people to FINALLY get them to listen and realize that the states had made a mistake and I had taken care of everything I was supposed to do 12 years ago. If it wasn’t for him they would have taken my liscence and my family would suffer for it. Thanks again Mr. Kappel!

I had a very difficult divorce case as well as a criminal case at both the same time. Mr. Kappel, after consulting with the Prosecuting attorney in my criminal case, had the charges both dismissed and expunged without having to go to trial.Additionially, my divorce case was made far easier than I thought and I was very satisfied with the results.
