I will definitely recommend Daryn to anyone who is looking for a good honest strong and very smart lawyer . She listened and fight for her client to get what they deserved like my case . I am very satisfied for the end - final results . She is very affordable. I have fixed income and she took me as her client , helped me so much thru the process .

My nightmare went on due Covid & court delays caused by my ex for almost 5 years. Throughout that time, Daryn, Andrew, and April, did amazing. Constant & quick communication whenever I had a problem, question, or any time anything arose. When D-day finally started, Daryn & Andrew were awesome. I was so scared for the possibility of losing because I didn’t want to get my hopes up, but they spent hours with me getting me ready, helping my witnesses gain confidence (with all of us having severe anxiety issues this is not easy trust me). Daryn always had my children’s best interest at heart, and never let even the smallest things like my ex forgetting their birthdays escape her cross examination. She took every opportunity to reassure me that we would be fine, we were prepared, and did SO much work and research to keep it that way. I will warn you, always be honest with her. Even if it won’t make you look good, trust me, she can work amazingly, but she can’t help overcome what she doesn’t know about. This process is not an easy one, but I will say it was made much better with her beside me. She was an absolute bulldog, never letting up. Trust me when I say, especially with kids, you want her on your side with you, not across from you. Andrew became involved towards the end of my case, but was amazing to offer fresh eyes and different ways of looking at things. Everyone always made sure me and my boys were good, and helped with any suggestions they could think of to make our case that much stronger. I got visitation ordered just the way I wanted, and I’m convinced this firm made the difference in that happening. I can never thank them enough for making my first holidays post divorce the best to come and finally ending my nightmare.

Daryn is who you want on your team! Poised, proper, and attentive. I was nervous about retaining a lawyer however, that went out the window when I saw how invested Daryn was in my case. Her paralegal April is also just as professional and responsive.

I never thought I would need to hire a divorce attorney and then I found myself telling details of my marriage to Attorney Daryn Barker. So I’ve been in a situation for a while with the mother of my children which I will not go into deep detail about, however on September 25th, 2019 I was granted legal joint custody for my awesome children. Moving forward the mother had left the state of South Carolina prior to the hearing on 9/25, and with that being her 8th move in 5 different states I figured I would still have the upper hand. Wrong! So I decided to reach out to Ms. Daryn Barker for legal advice and I explained the entire situation and also scanned my court docs over for her to review. Note: I’m an African American Man and it pleases me to see Caucasian Americans who care about African American fathers having major roles in their children’s lives especially male children. Moving forward, so we spoke the same day I reached out (surprisingly) and I could feel the passion and pain she had after hearing my situation. She listened and listened more and gave me honest answers along with sympathy. Ms. Daryn Barker then told me she’s going to review and look into a few things later that evening about my case and get back to me the following day. She kept her word and we spoke about the situation the next day. Now although she wouldn’t be able to assist me because of a certain law in place (mom) has been gone for more than 6 months out of the state, however she gave me the best answer she could and I followed up the same day with the Clerk of Court in Florida where (mom) is located to get it resolved and what do you know boom all I have to do is get the order registered so it’ll be enforced, because (mom) is has been giving me an extremely hard time. There’s no words to express the gratitude I have for this woman/lady/superstar lawyer! Now understand this she offers a free consultation, I offered to pay she refused I offered again she refused again, and her last words were “I care about people” need I say more!
