Many years ago I had the privilege of training Josh to become a volunteer guardian ad litem when I was the circuit coordinator for the Charleston-Berkeley Office. I knew right away that Josh was very bright, articulate and dedicated to family law. Josh worked several cases and then when an opening occurred in our office for an attorney to represent our guardians, I didn't hesitate to recommend him for the job. Josh not only got the job but did outstanding work representing our volunteers as they advocated for children in the Family Court system who had been abused, neglected, or abandoned. Josh continues to work with the guardians and has always enjoyed an excellent reputation within the Family Court system. I enjoyed every day working with Josh and always marveled at his ability to keep a level head even when there were others around him who were not so calm. Josh is an outstanding attorney and when he represents a client, that client has his undivided attention. Josh has been doing some guardian work in adoption cases and I am so happy for the children that he represents.
