Highly recommended! Scott Umstead and his staff are excellent! This is the 2nd time I have worked with them on a real estate transaction and was extremely satisfied! He explains everything and makes sure you understand. His assistant Debbie is also amazing. She goes above and beyond to get you prepared for your closing!

Scott and his team were easy to work with and really helped communicate the process and the timeframe ahead of closing. This was most appreciated in that we were traveling in from outside the state to settle and very nervous about how closing was going to go. We greatly enjoyed using Scott B. Umstead's law office for our first home purchase. He did a great job of personally explaining the important details of our mortgage and giving us instructions on how to deal with taxes, escrow, etc. The staff were also helpful in answering any questions and making it a smooth transition. We're excited for our first house, and grateful to have chosen a law group that truly cares about us.

What a wonderful experience it was, to close our new home purchase. First, when we walked into the office I just knew this was going to be a magical lovely closing on our home. The fun furniture and decor was something out of Alice in wonderland or a Beatles flash back with all the music and fun games on the tables and unique pictures brought such a whimsical atmosphere. I felt such a sense of calming and a swirl of relaxation came over me with this Black, red and white color pallet. The Theme was just well “MAGICAL “., as I mentioned. The receptionist was sweet and helpful, the waiting for what seemed like only minutes ( wish it would have been a longer wait), there was so much to explore with your eyes. Anyway, when Scott came to greet us and take us back to his office I was impressed by his charm, personality and professionalism. The offices were neat beautiful and fun as well. I just loved this attorney so much. He was patient, beyond words so helpful and lead us step by step through the closing process. I couldn’t recommend anyone better than Scott Umstead, PA. Thank you Scott, and your staff, in particular Debbie she is amazing, for this truly wonderful signing of our lives away… It softened the reality of 30 years of payments. Lol.
