Recently closed on my "Dream Home" through Scott Umstead's office. His team was hard at work for my closing from Day 1. I found their communication process to be thorough and seamless. I enjoyed working with everyone in the office, but especially Debbie Rose. She was so friendly and helpful with everything. It was a bonus when I got to meet with Scott on the day of closing. What a great guy. He made sure that I left with no unanswered questions. He even made some time so we could talk about our love for dog rescue. I will definitely be using this winning team again.

The process of closing on our first home could not have gone any smoother with Scott Umstead. We were always in constant and informative communication with his office, and once we arrived at the office on closing day, Scott was so personable and helpful. We obviously have never bought a home before, and he took the time to walk us through every little thing, even adding extra information that would be helpful for us to know. I very highly recommend Scott. He is a genuine person, has a sweet dog that came out to greet us (😊) and obviously is great at what he does.

Mr. Umstead was an all-around absolute pleasure to work with. Not only did he make the closing process a breeze but he made me and my husband both laugh and smile multiple times. We are truly grateful he was the one to help us in buying our first home making our families dreams come true. He was very helpful in answering any questions that we had ( even strange ones) and made the paperwork very easy to comprehend and understand. You can definitely tell that he actually cares about his clients we would definitely recommend him 1000 times over. P.s. his office is absolutely gorgeous too !!!! 😎

I had a very good experience with the Scott B. Umstead law firm for our closing on our home. The staff was very professional and got back to us promptly with any of our questions. When it came to closing date, Scott was pleasant and very detailed with all the documents. I would highly recommend them .

My experience so far has been far below expectations, as there are so many positive reviews here. The opening of my sale transaction was smooth, but the closer began sending emails to the wrong parties, likely b/c she did not take the time to review the contracts and seller info sheet my Agent and I provided. While mistakes happen, and I make them all the time, it is how its resolved that is more important. Mine was met with no response to my email, no apologies, no attempts to correct the error, no contact with my Agent, and then ordering a termite inspection with the wrong company. It's been a far disappointing experience with the Scott Umstead office.

This was such a pleasant experience. Scott was professional, yet very personable. He explained everything to us, so we understood what we were signing, and answered our questions. We actually had a very nice and fun appointment, even with the social distancing.

The office staff was amazing. Alyssa was my point of contact throughout out my closing process. Alyssa was always available to answer any question that I had. Alyssa did a wonderful job explaining the steps and procedures of the closing. Mr. Umstead was very professional and he too explained every piece of paper that was enclosed in my closing paperwork and made sure that I understood what I was signing. Mr. Umstead made the process extremely easy and relaxed. My favorite part was that I was able to meet Joe. Since I was alone (due to COVID) Joe joined me as I signed my papers  If you are looking for an attorney that is professional, responsive, has good value and quality then Mr. Umstead and his staff is the BEST choice. I highly recommend them for all of your real estate, litigation, and business services.

Scott B Umstead and staff made my closing experience extremely professional and very pleasant. I received both a telephone call and an email explaining the entire process. Kristin and Debbie who I was able to reach when I had questions or concerns were very helpful and very responsive. They played a major role in a smooth closing. While talking to Scott during closing he was very genuine and seem to take a personal interest in making sure that all my questions were answered. Great Job, Very Professional!

Attorney Umstead's office was the attorney for the closing on our condo. They were very helpful during the entire process. They answered questions and gave direction promptly. After the closing, Attorney Umstead went above to help us settle the exact date of ownership with our chosen rental company. He did this quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to use his office in the future.

This is a first class group. Kim handled our closing of a condo. She kept us informed and is very efficient at her job. All transactions were handled in a professional manner. Highly recommend Umstead Law for real estate sales or purchases.
