After the death of my beloved husband in 2018, I was extremely fortunate to find the services of Jennifer and Jerad Tomac with “Tomac & Tomac, PLLC” in Rapid City, South Dakota. They were instrumental in helping me through the most difficult time in my life. I became very ill, and she even came to the hospital (which was an hours drive from her office), in order for me to sign some important documents. Jenny was extremely helpful and professional as we worked through developing my will and trust after my first child was born a few years ago. I knew I needed to get my “end of life” documents prepared but didn’t really know where to start, and Jenny made it easy. Ms. Tomac is an excellent attorney in the legal areas related to estates and trusts. She is very knowledgeable and provides no nonsense guidance and explanations. Ms. Tomac has guided me through the executorship of my mom's estate, a very difficult position emotionally. Her knowledge of the court system, of the administrative process that needed to happen when and where, and what to expect at each phase has been invaluable. She helped me to understand my mom's will and codicils as they were written, and helped me finalize her estate in accordance with my mom's wishes. My husband and I needed to have or wills made and chose Jennifer Tomac based on several recommendations. We were not disappointed! We used Jennifer Tomac for our Wills/Medical Directives/POA, but also for a Guardianship and Conservatorship filing. In both cases we found her to be knowledgeable and responsive - we always felt like we had a 'partner' in the process. When my mother passed away I tried to handle the difficult job of processing probate using the guide provided by Loudoun County. It was way too difficult for me to handle on my own. The county probate office gave me he name of 3 local attorneys and I had the great fortune to have called Jennifer. She was amazing, so helpful, available, knowledgeable. She led me through probate quickly and at very fair rates. I was so fortunate to have had her help.
