At 8pm the night before my hearing Nicole Griese called to say she wouldn’t be making it to court for me. She offered to have one of her assistants, Morgan, be there, or to have the court date postponed. I’d already driven over 400 miles from Minnesota to deal with a charge for possession of cannabis edibles that I’d bought at a corner store in Colorado. Morgan showed up a half hour late that morning and we didn’t have time to do any prep, and she hadn’t printed off the agreement we had to sign with the judge. We then had to go get it printed and sent up to the judge and I had to wait around for all of this. A complete mockery, and an incredible display of incompetency. I highly encourage anyone looking for a lawyer in Sioux Falls to move on to the next search result.
