I was involved in a major car accident. My disability carrier would not answer my call or letters. I felt like I had no options. I had worked for the US Courts for 15 years and developed late-onset eppilepsie. I thought I was going to lose my home, car and life. I had an insureance policy, that I'd been paying into for the prior 15 years, and I'd never thought would pay-off. It was just a mandatory deduction out of my paycheck. It was contracted by the Courts under a group policy that I thought would never pay off, and secure my future. Just a small deduction from my pay check, so I never asked questions.
