The lady I spoke with was very nice, said she would have Sam return my call. I've known Sam from his high School years, him and my son played ball together. I'm sure he is a busy man, but I never heard back from him.

Sam Byrd and his team worked with us on a emergency custody case that evolved to a legal guardianship then adoption family matter. From day one he was very professional and helped us take the path that would guard not only the child but be respectful of all parties to make what was a very unfortunate circumstance go down the path of the most positive result possible for all parties. I have know Sam was a lawyer for years and never thought I would need his services. When I was charged with a DUI, I thought who can I trust to help protect me? Sam's office put Kevin Hargis on my case. He, although looks and can seem to be a bear was a teddy bear for me. Handling the D.A and Judge with respect and professionalism. He managed a plea deal that saved me a ton of aggravation and about half the cost of his fee. Through the defense period he was always a text away and kept me informed of the progress of the case. Because I admitted I WAS guilty, he suggested I lick my wounds, strike a deal to save me a long drawn out legal battle that may in the end cost me more and not guarantee a better outcome, maybe even worse. After we struck a deal with the D.A that the judge was not 100% on board with he spoke to her and we walked away with an agreement. He then walked me to the rooms to pay my fines and get other charges dropped.  I suggest this firm for your needs and suggest more strongly that you don't drive with any amount of drinks you have had. What you think is buzzed, and the state thinks is illegal, are two different things.

Sam is one of the beat people I have met. Not only did he help me get the results that I wanted, he also made sure me and my son were happy. He was very professional and tentative to my needs and request. I know if I ever need his services agian he will be right there willing to jump on board. If you need a lawyer that actually cares about your needs and request he is your guy.

Brittany and Sam worked very hard on my "difficult" case. I say difficult because at the initial consult Kevin believed it would be one of the easiest cases they've handled but one can never account for a difficult Ex-wife. In the end he gave me solid, sound advise and even though I paid her a lump sum to get rid of her I saved money in the long run from not paying more in attorney fees. If your looking for someone that will give you straight forward advise and doesn't try to inflate your bill then Sam is the guy to see.
