I have used Mr. Girsky a few times now and have never been disappointed. He knows what he's doing and understands what needs to happen when dealing with military members. He and his staff have always treated my family in a courteous and professional manner.

This is a very good firm to hire. Here's why; I phoned 10+ attorneys in the Clarksville area looking for help with my Parenting Plan from Georgia while I served in the Army all the way in Alaska. Out of those firms I called, each and every one quoted me money "$4000 for this", "$7500 to file this and that", but Steve didn't talk about money, he asked to see all my court paperwork first and within about two days he called me back and said to me "I know I can help you". Your fooling yourself if you think your going to find a better firm in Tennessee or Kentucky. The entire staff there is polite, professional, and they make you feel like family. I highly recommend this firm!

I went in to this law firm and haven't been properly treated right since. My spouse and I both went in and signed the divorce papers and was told it would be filed right away after we paid the remaining fee. I paid two weeks later in full and the paperwork was supposed to be filed that week. Here it is a month and a half later and it is just now being filed because I had to call and check up on it. Luckily I did or it would be December. And not only has a month and a half passed by, when my divorce should have been finalized coming up in a couple weeks, but they tell me it was a mess up on the lawyers part but they tell me I have to wait an additional 60 days from when they file. Telling a client that the lawyer messed up and didn't file when he should have and acting like every time I call, it is an inconvenience is not how a client should be treated. I had to call them every single time when they were supposed to be the ones to call me. I never received a call about anything in this dilemma. If it's the lawyers fault, you would think they would be jumping through hoops to fix their mistakes. Not telling me they just filed in the past week and I have to wait another 60 days, when it has already been 45 days. The only positive I give about this firm is the payment plan. But that is no reason to not file my paperwork when it was clearly conversed to me that it would be taken care of. I paid 200 the day I wanted to hold them and I paid the remaning 800 in full one day before I was scheduled to. I was told everything would be filed and on its way the next day. That was July 31st. I get an email this week with some paperwork stating that my divorce has been filed when it should have been filed months ago. Instead of calling and talking to me like a professional courteous law firm, they send emails of a situation this important. I am so heated that I wasted my time and over paid for rude and non caring individuals. Now my divorce will not be final until mid November when my husband and I signed and paid July 31st. For an uncontested divorce with no children.Tennessee states 60 days separation period. The Law Office of Steven C. Girsky does what they want and make you wait 90+ days because they are too lazy and unorganized to file your paperwork on time. I have more grey hair dealing with these people than I do at my own job. And they pay me to have grey hair. Very unsatisfied and irate customer. And I will make sure I tell everyone in walking distance of work and friends to not step foot near their office and to tell their friends/coworkers/family as well. Thanks for making this an even more unpleasant experience and thanks for showing that you don't care about military folks when all of this could have been corrected from YOUR MISTAKE.
