Phil and Andrea are extremely knowledgeable, experienced and professional. Their accessibility and insight were calming during what can be an overwhelming experience at times. They were consistently responsive and understanding – listening to my concerns and making sure I felt comfortable both legally and personally. Phil Newman was recommended to me by a lawyer in Maury County. I scheduled an appointment and met with Phil. He was down to earth and was truly concerned about my impending divorce. The process was started and I met his 3 paralegals, Andrea McCoy, Rachel Oglesby and Julie Ennis. During the process I mainly worked with Phil and Andrea. I knew that I could reach out to any of them with questions and concerns and I would be contacted that day. If you have a mountain of legal issues that you have no idea where to start, then I will suggest you start here. I spoke to 10-15 lawyers in Franklin. They all gave me similar suggestions, but I choose someone based on their actions, and their integrity. Unfortunately the only lawyer I could find to help asap ended up abandoning me after my mother died, and I was left with probate, litigation, and the hassles of understanding the complex world of caring for a dependent. Boom! Here I found Lauren Moss. AKA the Mossinator! She was able to store through my mountain of chaos and find reason. She has a team of lawyers she can rely on, and I wish I had found her first. It may take them time to get you in for an initial consult but hear me when I say it is worth the wait.

None of us ever want to be in a situation where we have to be in a legal dispute! This was a first for me, and I have to say I couldn't have done it without Lauren Moss and the firm she works for! Divorce is a horrible process. But Phil and Andrea along with their team were incredible. Knowledgeable, supportive, thorough and communicative is how I’d describe my experience. They made divorce tolerable!!
